The breakfast was similar but better than the breakfast at other hotels where I've stayed in town. The clerks at check-in were great! We were able to check in early, which meant a lot because our friends needed to get ready for our photoshoot and needed a place with mirrors, etc. So that was sincerely appreciated!

My wife had a hard time with the bed being in her opinion so hard. For me it was fine, but she felt it was bad enough that without changing the beds to something softer, or bringing a bed top with us (which, coming in a truck, we could maybe do) we'd have to stay somewhere else next time.

I have to give the Horizon an A+ for effort. The rooms were spotless and the lobby is very quaint. Extra touches in the room regarding the display of towels was noted and appreciated. Free ice cream at check in was a bonus and a clever gimmick. The young lady at the reservations desk was super polite and apologetic about the delay for checking in.

we weren’t able to access one of our rooms until 7:30 because the hotel was short on cleaning staff. Parking lot was pretty grubby which made us feel uncomfortable about leaving our motorcycles out there. (They we’re fine btw and easily monitored from our window.) There weren’t any restaurants in the area so we ordered in Dominos, which worked out fine.

Front desk check in was super easy and the attendant was so nice. Very personable and we even got a free ice cream! Rooms were older but clean and they were updated as best they could. breakfast buffet has lots of selections and they asked if there was anything else we needed.

They didn’t have an ice machine.. the only ice available was from a fridge in the lobby. There wasn’t any left by the time I got there. But we were there for a softball tournament and they let me use the freezer to freeze my ice packs so that was a plus

clean, seemed recently renovated, confortable, the afternoon clerk was very nice and tried all she cooks to solve my issue

1. the TV was showing only local channels and in order to see anything else , even basic as TNT, I had to go through RokuTV, complicated and not self intuitive (I was lucky I had my xfinity acct/pwd. 2. advertisement on the road is below poor. big Super8 sign, almost invisible “Horizon Hotel” after the turnoff to the parking 3 parking was unkept with piles of trash overflowing the trash bin on the north side.

Good friendly staff, very accommodating, enjoyed the pool, and staying in the studio was like having my own apartment while I was there with my own entrance. I really liked that and so did my dog.

The bathroom door was broken then repaired and still handing off the bottom hinge so i couldn't truely close the door without issues.. bathroom door needs replaced.

My stay here was great! I spent about a month and a half here. The couple who manage the hotel are some of the hardest working and friendliest people I have met. They are always happy to help! After a mix up with my check out date, which was more my fault, they gave me my last night for free. There is an always open pool which is great for families or if you just want to get a few laps in before bed.

Pool and ice cream was a nice touch

Parking lot not painted for parking, there were people barbequing near my vehicle it made me nervous. That could have been in a different location not near the door. Jet pumps not working for the jacuzzi. The place was hard to find due to name change. But over all not pricey

Sweet staff and sweet touches such as the Hershey's kisses in the room as a welcoming gift and the lovely way the towels in the restroom was set up with flowers. I loved the swimming pool and hot tub, they were clean! There were a lot of choices of what to eat for breakfast including eggs and waffles. And it was a pleasant surprise that we got free ice cream for staying with Horizon, just what we needed to cool down. I loved how the location was central to all the places we were headed and close to restaurants and stores. It was a great place to stay! Even though the booking.com site stated no Wifi was available the Horizon did have Wifi which was very nice and helpful.

We got in pretty late and there weren't any fitted sheets or extra sheet or blanket in the room for the pull-out and I was too tired to go downstairs to the front office to ask that night. I suggest that the Horizon keep extra linens and blankets for rooms with a pullout in one of the drawers ahead of time but no biggie, we eventually asked for some the next day.

comfy bed, good location, large room with mini fridge and microwave was great because I have two very picky eaters. staff was great. There were some balls in the pool area for my kids to play with. they also had life jackets or floaties to use. my kids loved the kisses in the room and the free ice-cream you get.

pool area didn’t have towels the second day but still my kids had a blast.

Front desk staff are very friendly, and they even offer free ice cream at check-in! Towels are very soft and plush. Breakfast has lots of offerings including hot waffles and eggs. Larger refrigerator was very cold. Rooms have been freshly painted and recarpeted with new drapes too. Dog-friendly, and overall this was a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Clean, indoor pool for those interested in that.

This is a former Super 8 Motel that has been recently purchased by an American family. They are making great strides in providing very clean, affordable rooms, but they haven't done much outside yet. Old sign is still up, too.
