Days Inn by Wyndham Ritzville

I had stayed here before in the spring of 2020. Due to Covid regulations then, the breakfast area and front desk were cordoned off with plexiglass (there was no breakfast needless to say to). You also had to go out the main door and enter the hallways to the rooms through a side entrance. This time it was not the case. The front desk and breakfast area was open and welcoming. There were new owners too. Breakfast was offered too. Not only continental but with the waffle maker, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, hash browns and sausage links. Normally we would stay at the Top Hat Motel deeper in town as my friend likes to support small independent businesses rather than big chains. Also the Top Hat rooms have doors to the outside. He lasted stayed there prior to getting lung cancer from smoking. He liked the outside doors because he could get up in the middle of the night to smoke without going down a hallway to reach outside. Since he no longer smokes, he is open to larger chains with rooms opening to a central hallway. Anyway, it was a good stay and I would consider staying here a third time if the opportunity arises.

It was fine, the rooms may have been a bit dark but there were plenty of lamp light so no biggee to complain about.

My room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was great. There aren't a lot of dinner options in that area, and it was nice to see that the hotel had frozen dinners and other food so people don't starve.

Only small complaint was that I literally scraped the bottom of the egg and sausage pans to get the protein that my diet requires for breakfast. Also, if noise bothers you maybe request a room that does not look out over the truck parking lot. Those truckers started their day at 3:30.

The room was the perfect size for my pets and myself. Bed was comfy, pillows soft with just enough firmness. Pet room had no smells/missed fur/discoloration anywhere, very well maintained. Hotel was quiet and just enough off the highway that it was perfect. Breakfast was the best I've had in a hotel. Actual eggs, biscuits, and gravy, plus for the waffle lovers that waffle maker. Coffee was strong and plenty of it. Staff was kind and a great help with any questions. In my opinion went above and beyond to make my stay fantastic. I'd highly recommend to anyone passing through!

Absolutely nothing

Comfortable king sized bed in a lovely room with extra chairs for sitting in with our cup of coffee . The hot breakfast had nice choices .

Front desk man was GRUMPY . He had already moved the cart that held the dirty breakfast dishes , so I tried to help by handing him my plate. He glared at me, looked at the clock (9:10) ,and rudely said, "There's a reason it's gone." We started breakfast at 8:30 so it wasn't like we had arrived at the last minute.

The breakfast was great, with lots of choices and even some fresh-cooked hot dishes. Every member of the staff I interacted with was friendly and helpful. The room was on the small side, but clean and comfortable, and the A/C did a fine job cooling my room down even though it was above 105 in the area when I arrived in the afternoon. Decent free wifi and the pool looks nice enough I was sorry I hadn't packed a swimsuit. Bonus for me, there were 3 different car charging stations within walking distance; this is seriously the first time I've been able to easily and conveniently charge my PHEV car at an inexpensive hotel.

Great pool, hotel well taken care of. Very clean. I was impressed with that. Nearby Zip Burger (ok food but understaffed and no ac) convenience store, and great Mexican place across street. Pretty quiet here. Breakfast is ok . I did not use exterior laundry but happy it was available. Ac worked well in room. They have camera on parking lot. Free parking. Overall, great place, would stay again.

They need to move waffle maker to end of line at breakfast as it being in the middle holds up the line. Could use heater in bathroom. Didn't like the lights in 103 because it was too easy to turn on bright one in room rather than bathroom. They could use a nightllight to see to go to bathroom.

Our room and bathroom were clean and comfy. We needed a place to rest up from a tiring schedule, and the hotel was quiet, and just what we needed for our two-night stay. The best feature was the expansive breakfast with eggs, sausage, potatoes, sausage gravy, pastries, cold cereals, fruit, waffle iron, and even cooked vegetables (!). And, it was all served with regular dishes and flatware. It was great! The ladies on staff each of the two mornings were like two mamas that wanted to make sure we got enough to eat. 😊 I would recommend this Days Inn to anyone.

I wish we could have stayed longer.

The hotel is close to the road, so easy reachable. The room itself was very clean and super comfortable. The breakfast next day was the best ❤️ so much to choose and the man who was responsable for it was so very attentive and nice 👍🏻 Also the woman on the reception the night before was really friendly

The only thing worth mentioning is that the walls are really thin but if have ear plugs its not a problem 😎

The room is big enough, and the location is excellent, just beside Highway 94.

Since it is a "senior-friendly" facility, there is no bath tube instead of a shower with a chair. But the show base has a problem; it can't stop the water. If you don't pay attention, the water will flow all over the bathroom and even to the room. It almost caused me to fall to the floor. It's pretty dangerous.

It was clean, roomy, comfortable and the desk staff and host were friendly and accommodated any way they could. They couldn't have been nicer.

The fan in the bathroom was pretty loud and turned on automatically with that light, so using the bathroom during the night woke everyone in the room. The walls seem 'thin' and the people above us were fairly noisy. Some one (most likely above?) was running a LOT of water about 4 am for a Long time. The staff cannot do anything about those circumstances, but with this in mind, when the motel is not very full, it would be very effective for restful sleep to spread people out, that is leave an empty room between others and not directly over head some one else. New lights and fans in the bathroom and a nightlight by the sink would be really nice upgrades!
