It’s right in the middle of Airlie, close to everything and right across from the public lagoon pool. We expected something worse as the reviews of this place are quite bad and yes the room is a bit small but definitely manageable for two people. Other than that, beds were comfy, room was clean and smelled really nice, the sound system is amazing for tv and connecting your phone. Movie selection is awesome and there’s room service once a day. It’s definitely not as noisy as you‘d think, we were facing the ocean which is the better choice I‘d say. No road noise or restaurant noise. Loved it!!

The room was facing the ocean which was nice but also a big carpark underneath and the garbage truck/delivery trucks come EVERY morning around 6-7am and stick around for 5-20 minutes for some reason. Sometimes even more than just one. They’re that loud we woke up every morning to them and got really annoyed when they just sat there with the truck running. Super loud, no sleep ins.

An easy accessible hotel . Stylish , decor pleasant , large reception rooms and compact well designed units. Pleasant staff.

I wish I had been told that a very busy and noisy hotel was what village outlook meant. As I was only there from short time I put up with it. The double glazing needs to be upgraded to triple glazing. Also a map of Airlie would have been valuable not just a glimpse of the reception copy.

Reception was beautiful and cold when we arrived! was greeted my Alison who was warm and friendly. Incredible location.

Take note, if you stay over the weekend you can hear loud music from the pubs a crossed the road. we in room 108 (water facing) and could still hear the music and we weren’t facing the main road or pubs. the rooms look so much bigger online. very small. a little more detailing could have been done when it comes to dusting. lots of dust build-up on the blinds between bed/bathroom. glass windows could have been cleaner. lots of black dirt build-up on window ledge on the balcony. there was a sign out the front of the hotel advertising staff. Maybe the hotel is a little staff and looking for housekeepers. If I didn’t have a job, I would love to apply for a job here and get this hotel super clean as I’ve worked in housekeeping in 5 star resorts!

the room was clean and comfortable just quite small my only issue was the TV remote didn't work and no Netflix or Foxtel they did replace it and the second one again didn't work correctly it then turned the TV on but wouldn't do anything else I am sure the staff would have tried to fix the issue but Didn't bother again we were there and it was very wet so we did spend a little bit of time in our room The location is in the very center of town but with the double glazing the room was very quite

TV could have worked LOL

We selected a Designer Queen room with Water Aspect. The property is located in the heart of town, close to the beach and large lagoon system. Attached to the hotel building is The Deck restaurant which serves delicious meals. The room furnishing were clean and neat, with large bathroom ensuite. A balcony provided lovely views of the park, lagoon and ocean waters. complementary WiFi was provided.

The wardrobe was quite small, and orientated across the doorway, so the you had to sort through hanging clothes to find which outfit you were looking for. The other thing was the complete lack of drawers to place small clothing etc. There were some shelves above the hanging space in the wardrobe, but unreachable for my wife.

The decor was lovely, great location. Bed was very comfy!

Lack of privacy in the bathroom being slats only (not a proper wall), room was small but fine for our one night stay. The noise levels from outside in the early hours of the morning were very loud but overall a comfortable stay.

I like that our room was somewhat cleaned everyday but I would have liked it to be vacuumed every day.

floors could've been vaccumed daily. I didn't like that the when you used the balcony, the aircon cut off. A fire alarm going off the first night we stayed was very inconvenient. I didn't like the parking arrangement. We had to park in council public parking, unsecured parking. The parking app was a pain to use as you had to wait10-15 minutes before being able to pay again for parking. No option of room service.

Brilliant central position above the Deck, one of the best restaurants in Airlie Beach and super close to the lagoon. The hotel is still quite new, the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We stayed on the sea- side and the sound proofing was good- unsure if staying on the town - side closer to Magnums nightclub would have afforded us such a restful sleep

We had a bit of trouble with the TV remote but then we neither my husband or myself are terribly proficient with technology. 🙃

Beautiful hotel that felt like a little slice of luxury on our road trip. The room itself was lovely, though it was very small - ok for a night but probably not for a week-long holiday. However, the bathroom was large! Comfortable bed and nespresso coffee was a nice touch. Great location for access to Airlie Beach - but it was noisy being next to a car park and near a lot of pubs.

Small room - not much space around the bed. And noisy at night - we were woken twice in the early hours of the morning by garbage trucks emptying industrial rubbish bins just below our balcony. The hotel is next to a car park which was noisy overnight, and near pubs on the main street which had loud music til 12am. I wouldn't mind so much if the room rate had been cheaper... but $273 was overpriced for a night with so much noise.

Location was really good. Very central to everything. The price was satisfactory for where it was located. The cleaners were very thorough, maybe a little too thorough. Like that each room had a balcony.

There wasn’t any in-house room bar options. Only coffee or tea supplies. Only milk and water was supplied. Tried to get a hamper sorted but it was through external supplies which you had to do yourself. Asked for the room to be done up romantically for an anniversary and it wasn’t. There wasn’t much information supplied except a pieces of paper upon check in. parking had to be paid through external supplier. The food where to book downstairs was closed but wasn’t advised. There wasn’t any telephone in the room to call reception.
