Nightcap at Chardons Corner Hotel

This hotel is a gem. The accommodation is brilliant: spacious, comfortable, with an amazing shower and super comfortable bed - and fast internet. Also free parking at the rear. A wonderful find! The accommodation manager is an outstanding person: a first rate professional, she also acted as counsellor in my case when I arrived feeling most unwell and with a limp from a fall. Nothing was too much trouble. She deserves a bonus! The cleaning staff and night staff also went beyond the call of duty. One young cleaner lent me the charger for her iPhone to recharge mine when I found I'd left my charger behind. Can't get better service than that

Very friendly staff and easy walking distance to supermarket and multiple food options. The room was clean and comfortable, just as advertised.

The hotel doesn't look promising from the outside, especially since reception is accessed through the pub smoking room. There is a ramp outside, but rooms are upstairs which isn't ideal if you have heavy luggage. Housekeeping were quite noisy, often as early as 7am (though cheerful and friendly!). My room had an odd layout, with 2 beds (a queen and a single) but only one chair. The lighting arrangement with one bright strip down the whole room or a spotlight above one of the beds would not be ideal for parents with children as there is no way to have light to make a cuppa without brightening the whole room (as bathroom light is connected to noisy extractor fan).

The two bedroom apartment with bathroom and kitchen was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Plentiful mirrors; definitely a bonus for four ladies getting ready. Bottles of complimentary water in the fridge. A free drink voucher to have at the bar each was a nice surprise. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Natalie @ reception was lovely and had us checked into our room quickly. Sam @ the bar called a taxi to take us to Suncorp Stadium for the Ed Sheerin concert. The House Keeper was exceptionally nice and friendly. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. We enjoyed the takeaway food and pizzas from Pizza Capers down the street for a late lunch/early dinner.

We thought there would be more cafes close by, suitable to have lunch or breakfast. But other than that everything was perfect.

Awesome location if you're there to see a band. Parking no issue, checking in and out was easy. Got given 2 free drink vouchers on arrival which was a lovely little bonus and the wine tasted great. Nice little Vietnamese restaurant next door.

There was a sign in the bathroom to close the door when showering as the steam sets the alarms off, because of this the shower was a bit mouldy. Too gross for me but I'm super fussy. The rest of the room had no issues. Would definitely stay again to see a band, well worth it.

This was the only suitable accommodation left when we booked to see a Broncos game. There was a convenient free bus to the game right opposite the hotel. Rooms were nicely appointed and comfortable. There are delicious Vietnamese restaurants and coffee shops at the side of the hotel. There is convenient free parking behind the hotel.

The toilet seat moved (room 2). Spilt sugar and coffee from the previous occupants had not been cleaned (room 7) leaving a sticky mess. This hotel is not really suitable for those with mobility issues - lots of steps and the place is a labyrinth. It was quiet when we stayed, but it would be worthwhile checking that there isn't a heavy metal festival on the dates you are staying (unless you like heavy metal, of course!).

Location was good, not to far from the shop and city. staff were accomodating and helpful most especially Wendy 👍🙌. lots of parking available at the back.

When you have big luggage, you need to carry to the stairs. If you have take away there is no microwave in the room.

The hotel was centrally located and close to all amenities. The two bedroom apartment was quite clean and had very comfortable beds. The staff were also quite friendly.

As the hotel was attached to a pub there were some dodgy characters around which made us feel a bit uncomfortable. Also, the living areas, apart from the kitchen, were located within the bedrooms which compromised privacy.

The room looked immaculate, and just like the pictures. It seemed to have been recently renovated. There was a smart tv in the room. The bathroom was small but beautiful. The lighting in the room was great for setting the mood.

Definitely nitpicking, but the hotel part didn't seem to match the outer facade of the pub. It's like a whole separate section. The pub has the aura of a standard suburban pub, while the hotel part feels a little bit fancy. It was an interesting juxtaposition.

I have been staying in Nightcap hotels around Brisbane and it has always been amazing. Great staff and rooms were updated, clean and very comfortable. Staff seemed to recognise frequent stay and happy to assist in any enquiry. Always happy to get feedback to improve for the future. very happy guests.

There was a glass under the bed which luckily didn't break when we get on the bed. other than that, can't fault any of the service. Told the manager Wendy and she took it very seriously and ensuring us that next stay she will ensure it's perfect for us.

Well here we are again for another nail biting review of the local hospitality in and around Brisbane . The chardons corner hotel is a another run of the mill establishments from the outside . They host all the facility's you would expect of a pub hotel with a drive Thru gaming room . And up to date tab . They don't however supply meals but welcome you to have meals delivered to you at the hotel .it is highly recommended to dine well before 9 pm if you wish to try one of the few restaurants close to the hotel as they are generaly closed early . Now the fun part . The accommodation staff and facility's and what to expect . I booked and paid for my room via booking.com it's simple and easy and makes check in a breeze or you can reserve your room direct and pay on arrival just as easy and efficient the staff are great . Friendly and ready to assist you in any way possible to ensure you have an enjoyable stay . After check in you will climb what can only be described as a grand stairway . It's large enough to swing two cats and a dog if required . Then down the wide open halls to your room . I stayed in room 1 for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed my time there oblivious to the world out side despite being directly on a busy road you are safe knowing you wont be bothered by the noise of traffic . The room itself is a little small and the facility's had been updated approx 18 months ago . So everything is new and fresh . I can see when planning the remodel the owers decided to sacrifice some of the room space in order to give guests a master bathroom with enough space to put another double bed it is huge . In actual fact the bathroom is the same size as the room with modern touches and a calm relaxing feel that makes showering comfortable .

Well not alot to dislike about the place besides the restaurants closest to the hotel close early everything was great . Will stay again on my next trip around Brisbane and discover more features to like and enjoy
