West End Central Apartments

Excellent apartment in great Southbank/West End location, so close to venues, cafes etc. After-hours check-in worked easily & perfectly. All bathroom amenities provided & comfortable bed. Balcony had good level of privacy.

1-ply toilet paper is a bit sub-par for this quality of accommodation, curtains had some hooks missing so they did not fully close to keep out light/sun. Coffee plunger supplied, but no ground beans to use in it, only instant/powder coffee, again, not usual/good for this quality of accommodation.

Location was perfect for me as it was within 7-8 minute walk to my place of work. Shops and restaurants were literally within 100m. Queens St mall and the thing they refer to as a " casino" was 10 minutes walk. All in all it was perfect for me. Information provided for after hours checking in was great and appreciated. Spa bath - was a great surprise Simple and Value for money.

Elevator 2 - Every time i got in you'd mistake it for the sauna. Hallway - Could do with a lick of paint. Room - Had a moldy type odour which i think came from the bathroom drain. TV - Got stuck with local TV stations as there was no streaming options available. But, you get what you pay for so I appreciate the simplicity of it all.

Reception was easy to find and staff welcoming and so so helpful! Happy to give extras if needed to ensure a more comfortable stay. Answered all my silly questions with a smile. The room was comfortable and building had easy access. Great hot water and water pressure! Great location to everything needed.

There was no toaster! Internet dropped sometimes for a moment which made streaming pause sometimes. But otherwise really happy!

Parking was very tight, the fob access to open the parking was so close to the garage door that our car was almost touching the gate. Spa bath/shower, was difficult to get over and is a bit of a slip hazard getting in and out as we only wanted showers not a bath. I would not recommend for elderly.

The location is excellent, central to everything that you need, transport, food, accessability. The property is practical, not luxurious but comfortable. Luckily we got a free car space. Brisbane accommodation I think is a little too expensive, this property compares well. You need to get some sort of deal to make it value for money.

Probably a little worn ie. carpet seen better days. Bathroom is very small. I dont think you need a spa in such a small bathroom

Friendly staff. Very accommodating when we requested a later checkout. Building a little tired (carpets etc), but the furniture in the room was newish and clean. Bed very comfortable. Lovely little place for the price in West End.

Air con remote did not work, but i did not request it fixed. I am sure it would have been dealt with quickly.

I got upgraded from studio to apartment which was nice😄. It has everything required including washing machine, iron, and ironing board good air con and magnifying mirror in bathroom, plenty cupboard space in bathroom 👌 and I loved the swim in the pool 👌

The cord on the hair dryer attached to the wall was very short and annoying and wouldnt stretch very far without pulling it nearly off the wall, it needs replacing. Kitchen appliances are old and needs updating, but it still good value for money.

The location is great. Central to everything with lots of great eating options close by. Everything was well organized - even for our late arrival. Free parking onsite made things very easy.

It was a little tired and could do with an update. But this was purely cosmetic rather than functional

No toaster and basic kitchen stuff. The step down from the bath shower to floor is quite a drop and a definite fall could acure causing serious injury. The area where the fridge is needs better ventilation as it is quite warm when opening cupboard door to access the fridge
