Curtains were light and lights left on outside overnight, made the room quite light during the night. Would like privacy without having to close curtains during the day. However this is not a major.

Great place, some studio rooms have double and single beds and a trundle, decent sized kitchen and bathroom. We had a mix up with our booking and first night we were allocated an upstairs studio and I have a knee injury and the stairs were not ideal. However the next day they swapped us to a ground floor studio without any dramas. Great pool, really good bbq area, shopping centre next door, good location, very nice staff and good price.

Nothing we didn't really like except if you have mobility issues make sure you get a ground floor room. The stairs are external and a bit steep but fine if you are fit and healthy and don't have 3 tears in your meniscus!

This is our second stay at bay of palms resort. This time we were in a room that overlooked the lake. The view from the room was just beautiful at every moment of the day. The laundry is close by and the machines work exceptionally well. We love the pool and especially the hot tub. The room was clean and spacious amd comfortable. Its a quick walk to the shopping centre which is very handy. Great value for money.

The mattress was too hard and lumpy and didnt give a good night's sleep and could use an update. The aircon needs a proper clean. The gardener or something accosted us and ranted about the parking spot we were allocated. It was weird, we still don't understand who he was, we guess he is the night manager or cleaner or gardener or something, or what his problem was. He didn't introduce himself but just went on a rant.

Location is lovely, pool is nice, resident swans are a treat (but there's a lady that lives there that shouts at you if you look at them too long).

We were a party of three, stayed 4 nights. We were given 2 towels. One we used for the pool, one for the shower. We asked if we could have an extra towel or exchange for dry ones, but were told that exchanging wet for dry towels cost $2 per towel. So we ended up using the same 2 wet towels for 3 people for 4 days. Were also told toilet paper couldn't be replaced, so had to buy at the supermarket. Kitchen was badly infested with ants

Lovely comfy double Bed. Pool looked very inviting. BBQ area was very clean. We had a beautiful view of the lagoon and plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the view. We also were provided with towels which is always a bonus. We had our key left for us in the key safe. I know you could hire kayaks for the lagoon if you wanted too. Very close to shopping centre with Cole’s and Woolworths and a BWS. I did see busses so I’m sure if you didn’t have a car you could probably get public transport to local beaches or further into the city.

We had a studio room, but there was a door that was adjoining to the next doors apartment and we could hear word perfectly everything from their room, and I’m sure Visa versa! It was more like a motel room, I am aware we booked a studio, but my understanding was we would have a kitchenette.

the most comfy bed we felt like home! the room was lovely with a view over the pool area. so nice to have a comfortable lounge chair for two we found this often isnt the case on our recent travels kitchen is well set up and a full size fridge a bonus. a lovely view over the canals on one side of resort while the other is a short walk to a shopping centre

small point the room had perfumed reeds in it whilst not unpleasant I am perfume sensitive so Asthma was triggered after a thorough airing and popping them in the cupboard it was fine however perhaps keep in mind not all of us can enjoy perfumes etc

Excellent location at the water's edge, extensive bird life, plenty of sun and outdoor seating. Plenty of car parking on the premises and also only 5 minutes walk to large shopping mall. We met a few of the residents who we found friendly and knowledgeable about the interesting attractions in this part of the city.

Our unit was comfortable and warm and had all the required amenities. We would have preferred to have more or stronger lights in the unit, we found it difficult to read with the existing lighting after nightfall

The room was newly renovated. It was clean, very warm and cosy with the split air-conditioning. It was just the right size for me by myself.

The room did not, however, have a kitchen sink so I couldn't wash up dishes and things. There were no extension cords to plug in electrical appliances for cooking or there is nowhere in the unit to cook except for the dining table. I did find it a bit inconvenient not being able to cook as I don't like buying take-away too much because it isn't healthy. It is also too expensive to continually buy take-away.

It was close to the airport, handy to the shopping centre for breakfast and nice & quiet. The room was a good size and comfortable.

The shower needed a door on it. It was too small not to have a door and the shower water went all over the floor each time you showered and you would have to squeegee it up before hoping out. We have a glass business and install showers and this one was totally impractical the worst I have ever seen. It should have a door to keep the water off the bathroom floor.

The location overlooking the lake was so pretty, and the convenience of The Pines shopping centre was great. Surprisingly there was very little noise from the motorway which is really close. Our Studio Room had everything you could possibly need. The description said only fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle which was misleading, as there was also an electric hotplate, toasted sandwich maker, toaster oven, sink, plates, cups, cutlery etc. Basically a kitchenette, but with a plug-in electric hotplate instead of a stove, and a toaster oven instead of an actual oven. Very well equipped. I can't actually comment on the overall facility as didn't use anything other than our actual room, and we were barely in there.

Very minor, but we organised a late check-out because my son was doing the Kokoda Challenge and I wanted him (and me) to be able to have a bit of a sleep, but it seems the information didn't get passed on because we had a staff member at the door telling us we needed to get out, so they could clean for the next booking coming in. There were no toiletries other than a small bar of soap, which isn't a biggie as I know most people bring their own - but it was the first time I actually needed them! :)
