Roma Central Motel

The room was very spacious with a table and two chairs, a two seater couch, microwave, toaster, fridge and quite a large tv with a very extensive range of channels available. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning kept the room toasty in the chilly weather. The bathroom was easy to move around in with a walk in shower. There is no service on Sunday but we received a text that morning if we needed any thing such as more coffee etc, we could go to the office. Don't be put off by the motel being by a main road. The only traffic noise we heard was from the trucks and they were minimal. There was sufficient plates, cutlery etc. Also a lovely touch was the food cover in the microwave.

Jodie and Steve were exceptional hosts, being very flexible for our late arrival on how to retrieve the keys. The room had the air-con heater already on, making it wonderful and warming as it was a bitterly windy cold day. Very generous sized rooms with a decent size bathroom and a table to cater 2x laptops comfortably. They offered suggestions for dinner places which were close by and also advised where the local supermarket was to help with our journey provisions. Will definately be coming back, in work and personal capacity.

That our stay was only one night.

A lot of thought went into planning the details of these rooms. Plenty of counter space in the bathroom, ample power outlets to recharge phones, computers etc. WiFi is free, very fast and more reliable that what I get 6kms out of Brisbane! Table and chair is conducive and comfortable to work at a computer. Staff are friendly and have good local restaurant suggestions. Really enjoyed our stay and would go back in a flash.

You can buy a continental breakfast at reception but the bakery opens at 5.30 and they have good coffee, so why bother. Road noise could be a problem if you are a light sleeper.

Everything about this place is excellent. Jodie and Steve texted during the day to make sure we would be able to check in. When we arrived early this was no drama and they provided great recommendations for dinner. Great rooms, quiet and clean.

Absolutely nothing. It was all brilliant.

Steve & Jodie were amazing hosts. We asked to check in early and they were more than happy to get our room ready. Very clean and comfortable room. Good location. Great value.

They probably need to get new beds soon. But it was still comfortable 😊

Plenty of room for the family and a modern feel. Great communication from the hosts who promptly contacted us when we left property behind.

We had to unplug the fridge in the main room as it was difficult to sleep

the rooms were beautiful and clean, the beds were extremely comfortable and we loved the layout of the family rooms! the kids loved it and so did we!

the only thing that could have been better is the rooms could have had a smart TV so we could log into Netflix etc. But it really wasn’t a big issue.

Only thing that let it down was the wifi connection. With 3 phones in family, no one could connect. We didn't let the owners/mgrs know as in the guide it said to contact some wifi company.

that there were 2 rooms, and everything we needed. The people who greeted us & said goodbye are super nice.

I did break a glass & since there was no vacuum to get the little bits, I moved the bed over the patch where the tiny bits of glass were, and the part of carpet that became exposed was gross, all mouldy.

The staff were amazing and very helpful. Very clean and everything was very well presented a great location

The bed was way too hard and very uncomfortable. Because of this we didn’t get a good nights sleep.
