Roma Inland Motor Inn

The property was probably the best I have stayed in rural Australia. Staff exceptional, so welcoming and helpful. Even drove me to the airport! Rooms were beautiful, clean and decor very tasteful. Short 10 minute walk to Main Street for fabulous pub meal so not having restaurant is not an issue. Plenty of options in town to dine - even on a Sunday ( Royal on 99 👍) Don't Miss the Avenue of Bottle Trees!

Location was fine. I did not have breakfast as I had an early departure! The room amenities were all fine. Very friendly Reception lady who made a me feel very welcome. Easy going and very accommodating.

The parking situation was strange (as in I am used to parking outside the front of the room). Strange to have cars pull into the front with headlights on etc when your car is parked in front of someone else room. No real issue but perhaps a re-think could be possible. However, it wont stop me staying there again of course.

We had stayed at Roma inland Motor in approx 4 years ago and it was very clean, neat and tidy (as though it was new). Upon this visit it presented equally as well, we'd of though we were last here a week ago not 4 years ago! Still very neat, clean, tidy and well presented. Staff were polite, efficient and even allowed us to use the visitor carpark to change a spare tyre on our car. Will stay here again next time we pass through!

To be honest, it exceeded our expectations in every way.

The family room was absolutely perfect. It had a kitchen, dining room, lounge room and two separate rooms (one with 2 single beds for the kids and one room for the parents). In addition to the lounge room, there was a tv in each bedroom which alllowed the kids to watch their own thing. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. Mini bar allowed for a beer with our dinner after a long roadtrip!

Friendly staff, allowed early check in which was much appreciated after long road trip.. our room was spacious, clean, well set out with microwave, toaster, crockery, cutlery etc.. very comfy bed, large clean bathroom with lovely hot shower..

Tiles in the shower were quite slippery tho there was a notice advising this.. a plastic mat was provided to use in the shower tho it was also quite slippery..

From the outside the motel looks like it's seen better days, but that is not what you discover once you step through the door. You're greeted by a warm, friendly, helpful receptionist. The rooms have undergone recent updating, the money & effort invested in the property shines through. Great bathroom, superb bed, useful microwave. After a long drive, the sofa was extremely comfortable & appreciated.

Have family there so only needed the room, all else provided by family. Room super clean, beds were MAGIC!!! Room staff lovely. Front desk being Emma could not have been more helpful. The couple filling in were a delight. Went out of their way for us as we are old fossils and helped us no end. All round stress free weekend.

The Room was modern and spacious and clean. It was very comfortable for us to stay in for the weekend.

My only downside was the gentlemen that was running the Motor Inn was a bit grumpy and snapped at my child unnecessarily.

We stayed in the two-bedroom suite, which was an indulgence, but gave us significantly more space than the standard room, as well as a larger fridge, kitchenette (two discs on a hotplate) and lounge and dining space. It was also at the rear of the property and away from any traffic noise (not that this is a significant issue at night in Roma). The suite was spotlessly clean, and the sheets were crisp and excellent quality. A good bed (although a king-size would have been even better) and pleasant, very obliging staff. We would recommend this motel.

Possibly a touch expensive when compared with similar facilities in comparable country towns, but nevertheless we received good quality accommodation for what we paid, and that was important to us.

Very easy to check in. The room was very clean, well appointed with a mini bar and good roomy shower - the bed was very comfortable 10/10. Also has access rooms available too and there's a courtesy bus to that stops at all the pubs in town.

I can't think of anything I didn't like about the Roma Inland motor inn and available services.
