Highlander Motor Inn

The rooms were more modern than I thought from the photos. Room was clean and comfortable. The kitchen area was a pit pokey, but it had all the basics for what I needed for a short 4 day stay with 2 teenagers.

Whilst they had 2 washing machines (free of charge - great!), there was only 1 dryer. As many people were staying for sporting events, there was some back and forth and late nights queueing for dryer. It was a minor inconvenience as I was able to find drying rack to hang the clothes to dry in the room.

the staff were lovely and were eager to assist in any way possible. The location is great and the bed was superbly comfortable.

I would prefer allocated parking, as each night I had a large 4WD of another guest backed up so close to my door, it was difficult to get out! I couldn’t even leave my tray out, it was that close. Also, it would be great to have a few breakfast menus left in the room, in case you miss reception (like I did).

Staff were very friendly and helpful and I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who is needing a lovely and comfortable place to stay

I loved everything, there wasn't much about the place I didn't like other than my brother saying next time he wants to try the rooms out with the carports in front of them. Other than that we loved our stay.

Pool was clean and clear, staff where friendly and helpful, food was exceptional. Walked to hospital , it took ten minutes but before covid you could go through their back gate and be in the hospital grounds. I requested extra milk and it was given with no extra cost and meals where on time, filling and restaurant quality, Try the fettuccine with prawns.

Perfect location for the Festival of Flowers. The facilities I was expecting in a hotel room was there. I haven't experienced any issues so this is a good place to stay.

Rooms are a bit dated but should be fine. Everything still works as intended and the prices are reasonable for its condition.

The location was great, seeing it was situated on a very busy intersection it was amazingly quiet!

We were not aware that our room was on the 2nd level! Disappointed that after an early start to travel, numerous medical appointments & shopping we were exhausted! Then had to carry luggage etc up 2 flights of stairs. We felt all of our 65 years once we were settled & the kettle was on!

I liked that the staff doing reception we're really understanding and helpful, i had a couple of issues with family emergency and was unable to go anyway when it came to checking out as no funds and I couldn't get a hold of any of my family to help, and they we're lovely enough to let myself and my two children stay another night until I got something sorted. So I was able to get a good night rest before checking out the next day. So I very much appreciate it, I do and I will definitely recommend the Highlander Motor Inn to anyone who is traveling to or even through Toowoomba. :) Thankyou again, Kind regards, Mrs Dixon :)

location, large comfortable room. friendly staff

room smelt if smoking. taps for bath didn’t work, and the shower was only just warm enough ( two showers, we had Luke-warm water which was not enjoyable. dopa wash dispenser in shower was empty. tv in main bedroom didn’t work.

The location.

No undercover car parking. Our room was not serviced after the first night, even though we stayed for 2 nights. The kitchen chairs were very hard to sit on, so we used cushions. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was very noisy.

Really lovely staff and great value amenities. Check-in and out process was super easy and quick! Rooms were spacious and had everything we needed. We have stayed here before and will continue to come back for all our Toowoomba visits.
