The location was excellent with cafes pubs shopping and beach within walking distance. The staff were very accommodating as our trip took longer to get there communication was excellent. Would def book again.

At the time some building works commenced at 7am which was a bit noisy also ran out of hand soap and toilet paper but overall brilliant stay.

Pat is an excellent host. We have stayed here previously and chose to return because it is centrally located but just far enough away from the main street to maintain its peaceful ambiance and Pat thinks of everything so you rarely have to ask for anything once you arrive and settle in. Pete struggled with TV control and Pat came straight to the room and showed us how to work it which was so helpful and allayed all concerns. The beach, fab eating places, IGA and Coles and Woollies, bottle shop, lagoon and water park are all within easy walking distance and the walk is full of colour, friendly smiles, and people enjoying the wonderful free community amenities! The room is a great size, well laid out, has basic eating utensils and cooking facilities, parking a breeze and straight outside the door which we really appreciated. We really like everything about the place. We will be back, thanks so much for your continuing hospitality Pat!

I have not travelled since lockdown, but friends who have, said standards had dropped e.g. some with no crockery or cutlery, milk etc. so I did not know what to expect. Everything I needed was there, and more. The room was roomy with air con running when I arrived and the room and bathroom spotless. All things needed in Yeppoon were in comfortable walking distance including the main beach and bus service to Rockhampton (and Emu Park) stopped close by.

Very clean and tidy with modern and functional facilities. The room smelled fresh and clean, rather than having a musty smell or lingering smells from previous guests. Staff were really helpful with facilitating a late check-in, and I simply returned my paperwork and key into the key return box upon leaving - so overall a very simple and easy process! Sheets and linen were also good quality which I really appreciated after getting sunburnt on Keppel Island!! Would definitely stay here again - it's great value for money :)

Bed wasn't very comfortable, but it was a great size being a King bed. I think this just comes down to personal preference, though, as I tend to prefer softer beds and this bed was quite firm.

Pat greeted us and made the checkin process simple and short which was great. The Room was spacious, clean and very well laid out. Pete particularly appreciated the tiled wet area around the fridge. There were plates and cutlery + toaster and jug and Microwave for basic meals and brekkie which we liked. The squeeze soap dispensers were a great idea and much more environmentally friendly than new soap for each guest that we only half use. The bathroom was spacious, shower had strong water pressure and there were 2 towel racks which is unusual and really helpful. 2 towels were put in the bathroom for each of us which, again, was unusual and very thoughtful and I thanked Pat. The fridge was also stocked with 5-6 bottles of water for our 3 day stay which was very helpful as we had activities each day and the weather was exceptionally hot and humid. We were very grateful for this unexpected addition to our comfort and hydration. Location was excellent with short walk to main patrolled beach and food options for brekkie, lunch and dinner + the main street. It was also walking distance to the start of the Saturday morning ParkRun if anyone is interested. Parking was great being directly outside each room so no confusion over parking spaces and you knew your space would be there even if you came home late and with ample room for each car - much appreciated! There was nothing that Pat or Sail Inn could do better. The accommodation was clean, cared for, exceptionally thoughtful in both layout and presentation, in a prime location and good value!! Thanks Pat!

Walking distance to the ocean, pubs and dining options, parks, shops and other close by locations. The air conditioning us amazing for those hot summer nights. Our motel felt very private. One of the cheaper motels in Yeppoon, but delivers in decency for the price. For a small beach town that I had never been to before, I was thoroughly enjoying Myself.

I learnt that shower curtains are a annoying, but most motels have them nowadays. Birds are pretty louder during mating season, but can't control nature.

Very welcoming staff member (I'm so sorry I forgot your name) when I arrived early and room was ready. I have stayed 3 times before and I return because it is a wonderful place to stay. Staff, cleanliness, bed, peaceful inspite of very central location, ease of parking, room has everything I need, easy walk to shops, cinemas and beach! Always love the experience. Thanks so much.

It was great.

Clean, comfortable bed, nice shower and perfect locations. The bathroom amenities include shower caps which are mostly not provide in other accomodations. Bottled drinking were also provided. It is located at one end of the main shopping strip with cafes, restsurants and supermarkets within walking distance. our favourite was the French bakery and coffee outlet right across the road.

It was close to shops. It was a lovely, well kept motel and it was clean. The bathroom was a really good size and the shower water pressure was so good! The staff were excellent as well. I’d stay again.

loved it.Have stayed here before it was renovated and was not so happy with it.Everything new and clean,and bed was comfy-this is a major thing for us as we always travel with bed topper just in case.AND the parking spots are numbered,before it was a bit first in best park.

we only use it as a sleeping place after visiting relatives,so for us all good.
