Adelaide Rockford Hotel

My stay at the Rockford Hotel was outstanding. The rooms were clean, tidy and homely. Reception staff were friendly and very happy to help, parking was very easy and accessible and the hotel had a luxurious feel for an excellent price. We loved hoe central it was to everywhere we went. Loved how beautiful the rooftop pool and the beautiful view over looking the city of Adelaide. Overall very impressed and will be looking forward to my next stay.

My friend and I stayed at the rockford hotel over the new years period. Our stay was amazing! There is nothing we would change about our stay and we cannot wait to return in the near future. We hope you like our review :)

Breakfast was quite good. Lovely selection of fresh fruit. Croissants were burnt so I didn’t choose to have one of those. Our room was clean and spacious, as was the bathroom. Tea making facilities adequate (don’t we get little packets of biscuits anymore?) Roof top pool looked lovely but I didn’t want to be taking wet bathers home in my suitcase.

The location was good in some ways. Close to the station (we arrived by train) and to the bus stop we needed to get to the airport, but a rather seedy part of town to walk through to get to the Mall and the cinema, the museum and art gallery.

really comfy rooms and beds. easy to get around from here. Although not central most central locations are walking distance or scooter distance, or Ubers are cheap from here. Room was spacious, with effective block out curtains and noise-cancelling windows. Front of house staff (that's you James) are brilliant - friendly, helpful, and went beyond to ensure our stay was great.

the room fridge is lit up like a space ship all night.. has no freezer. elevator works rattled our bones on Fri and Mon. Being warned of this would have been great.

I would like to commend the staff at the reception - Ricky, Khaya, James and one more. They were all accomodating and helpful. The staff at the bar - unfortunately I did’t get their names - and also during my breakfast there, were all very kind. Thank you.

There was no provision for a toothbrush kit. The restaurant could do better with a wider menu selection. The wifi was also faulty and that should be improved.

James is one of the best receptionist, very welcoming. The room is neat 🤌🏼

Honestly, the only think I don’t like is when we get the balcony that faces that building with no view

During this time with covid and trying to be careful and safe and hesitant in going back to a normal routine it was truly a delight to find our room so clean it makes it much more relaxing and a much larger space than we thought although this isn't high on our requirements being able to have an opening door with fresh air a bonus We had everything we needed in the way of facilities in our room The extremely welcoming friendly informative staff was a joy all of them greeted us and couldn't have been more helpful answering any questions with plenty of smiles The breakfast had variety and the coffee machine a hit the area was neat clean and attended to constantly and parking was the cherry on top the swimming area amazingly beautiful and a great out door place at night amongst the city lights A great position in town thank you Rockford we loved our stay and will return in October We love Adelaide and rockford is our new home to visit thank you 🙏🌸😃

Pretty much everything was perfect, only thing I could see an improvement on is with the TV's in the rooms so we can use Netflix or even foxtel so we can watch our favourite stuff in the perfect hotel room 🙂🙏 me and my partner both had a lovely relaxing comfortable 3 day stay in one of the rooms with a spa bath and the breakfast provided each morning it was surprisingly good so I would definitely recommend giving the Rockford a try everyone it's well worth the money spent and time you get to spend there so if the TV's got updated so we could use Netflix or something like that it would be a perfect hotel stay but even with the normal TV it's still amazing

excellent location - close walk to the University precinct , CBD , shopping , restaurants and entertainment .. a great starting point to start Adelaide adventure . Continue up North Street and you can marvel at the historic sandstone buildings . If you have a car - approx 1hr 15 mins away to the Barrosa Region .

The entrance to the Rockford Hotel needs cleaning eg hosing . As it is in a club precinct there were broken bottles outside ..

Room was excellent and the staff on the front desk were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast could be a little better - items such as fresh juice instead of juice boxes and I was disappointed about the restaurant not being open for dinner which was not the information on the booking.

Quiet room in an excellent location. Pool was great on a hot day for a dip and to cool off. In amongst or adjacent to all the action giving easy access to restaurants and entertainment.

Most staff were great but a couple on the desk were a bit too relaxed. Cleaning staff were great as were the breakfast restaurant staff. Night time the restaurant wasn't really an option. You could be the only customer.
