I think the first thing that hits you is the retro-style of the entire place, room included, but eventually you get used to it. It's a nice place. The place is clean: rooms are clean, bathroom and showers are clean. It's a quiet place, even if there is the bar downstairs, but that's not a problem, because from your room you are quite isolated from the noise. It is located right in front of the Central Market and really close to the CBD and a 10 minute from the airport by taxi. You can reach the bus station with a 5-minutes-walk

I don't have any complaint, but if there is something that can be improved, it's the furniture inside the room. No problems to me by the way.

It was central and able to get around without transport. Good value for money.

Wonderful location which is why I booked it. Directly across from Central Market and just around the corner from King William Street and it’s shops. A short walk to the central railway station. Room was a little smaller than the photos indicated with only a single bed but certainly adequate. I upgraded to a room with balcony and so glad I did. Popped across the road for morning caffeine hit which I enjoyed on the balcony whilst listening to music and reading. Perfect start to the day! Had a few drinks out the front with a couple of mates….very pleasant. Staff were great. Will book there again.

Room a little small and thought I was getting a double instead of a single bed but not a major drama.

The location was very good and the staff where very helpful and friendly the room and bathroom was very clean this hotel is good for a quick overnight stay even a few nights

I'm not a fan of shared bathrooms however that's what u expect in a pub I did have a queen room with a double bed maybe staying in one of the single rooms might be a different experience however I didn't find anything I didn't like about my stay

Perfect location for a brief stay in the CBD. Close to most major central attractions, events, and public transport. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating and facilities on-site are ample (rooms, bathrooms, food and drink, etc.).

No real noise from the venue itself (even on live music nights) however city traffic and significant construction taking place nearby may disrupt some travelers.

The location was very good and staff were very friendly. The balcony was quite relaxing in the morning. The accommodation is on top of a very lively pub, so I expected some noise - earplugs are a must! Food is good for a pub.

The floors creaked with every step, the door didn't close unless you forced it shut, and there were no smoke alarms in the room (there were some in the hallway). You definitely need to bring earplugs. I recommend this place if you were staying for one or two nights, but any longer you might be better off staying elsewhere unless you are a heavy sleeper.

we had a whole 6-person room to ourselves, which was amazing. comfy bed, lots of toilets/bathroom, aircon available.. it was right in the city and above a pub, but there was practically no noise. loved it1

maybe more shelfing in the showers and tap water in the hall, and more outlets to charge our phones. otherwise a decent accommodation in the city centre!

Great little hotel in the heart of Adelaide. Very close to a plethora of transport options. I appreciated that I was allowed to check in late (near midnight) and the guy that checked me in was very nice. The bed was nice and comfortable and the blanket kept me warm.

The room was a little on the small side but not a problem as I wasn't staying for long and it helps keep the warmth in. I put the heater on when I got there but I'm not sure it fully worked. It could also be user error 🤭🤭

Great location, easy to access; and only a short tram ride to Adelaide Oval (was in Adelaide for GIANTS v Port final). Was only there for 1 night, but it did its job and kept me accommodated for the night.

No complaints.

The room was clean and tidy and the location was excellent, I have nothing else to say about it. The place was quiet and beautiful, I took many pictures.

The only uncomfortable thing that I found was a slight tobacco smell from the balcony (someone was smoking). However, I have to say that lasted for only a few minutes.
