Mandurah Foreshore Motel

Our room was more spacious than I expected. It had all the usual amenities such as aircon, tv, fridge & a microwave. I like that for a double room it actually had two chairs and a small table. Location in the centre of town couldn't be better. Car parked safely at our front door in the private parking area. We didn't get to use the pool but it is there if you want it. Even though we stayed in the middle of the school holidays it wasn't overrun with screaming kids. Best value for money in Mandurah. Hotel fit out etc is a little dated as other reviewers have commented but there are more modern hotels in Mandurah for two or three times the price if this bothers you.

I booked to stay for one night, but extended it by another night, would probably have stayed a third if commitments had allowed-which is pretty much a recommendation in itself. I'm retired and travel alone if that's useful to know The accommodation is basic but has everything you need for a base to explore from. I can't stress enough how extremely clean it was, with attention to detail. If you want thick carpets and 4* luxury this isn't for you but if you're looking for an ideal location, with plenty of nice bars and cafes nearby but also within easy walking distance, along the foreshore to the boardwalk and marina, it's ideal-and affordable The shower was good, lots of hot water and a full-size fridge was a nice discovery. The bed was very comfortable, I slept extremely well. Noise does travel and it was possible to hear people in other rooms-but not enough to be a problem. The WiFi was a little unpredictable -(but it's free) but as you head towards the boardwalk area there is Mandurah WiFi available to log on to. If you want to cut costs there's a lovely Vietnamese bakery a few streets along that does takeaway sandwiches, salads, pies, etc, and a fabulous range of cakes and pastries, all very reasonably priced. There's also a bottleshop directly opposite the motel and Woolworths not far away, all within walking distance. I didn't use the small pool at the motel but it looked very clean and had chairs and loungers around it. The manager was helpful and it's possible to leave a small case if you arrive before check-in. Getting there is easy- I travelled by train then hopped on the circular bus and got off at the stop directly outside the motel. I will be returning!

Can't really think of anything - it's a clean, comfortable, well-located accommodation and reasonably priced

Liked the convenience if parking to door. Glass cups covered for hygeine purposes. Microwave delivered on request. Very professional experienced and friendly staff. Covid safe. Working tv. Close to foreshore. Late checkout was accepted. All kitchen needs available and clean. I did have photos but trouble downloading sorry. We will be back!! :)

Im being fissy here cause its constructive criticism but..... No aircon/heater couldn't work. Leaking shower causing floor wet and mat. One Window next to entry and was viewable public into room Fridges freezer too small. No bed side lamps

Pretty much everything. The room was exceptional value and staff were friendly and efficient. The amenities were better than expected. The pool was refreshing and clean and a full selection of cutlery, crockery as well as appliances were provided in the room. The room maximized the use of space. The location was perfect and walking distance to everywhere we needed. Overall an underrated hotel that we will be returning to again and again.

Although the bed was comfortable found the bedding to be a little heavy for the warmer seasons.

Great location, close to everything. Friendly staff, polite and quick to respond, accommodating. Quiet for a Saturday night in centre of town. Comfortable bed, fresh smelling unit, free parking close by. Great, affordable overnight stay. Compact, modern bathroom with clean, separately wrapped glasses, adequate soaps, tea/coffee supplies allow more than 1 drink each, juice box size uht milk.

Spider web in bathroom, dirty finger marks all over light switches in bathroom, long black hair hanging from fixture in bathroom.

Perfect location! Close to pubs, restaurants and of course foreshore. We actually thought it would be quite noisy because of the location but didn’t hear a thing from surrounding nightlife. Was perfect for us as all we need was a night’s accommodation.

Not really a negative we are just outside people . A small table and a couple of chairs outside the room would be nice just to have a quick coffee or drink before going out

Just a short overnight stay here. Location was convenient for us, check in was quick and, being a motel, we could park right outside our room. The room was clean. There was an iron/ironing board, a microwave, toaster, kettle, crockery and cutlery etc. Enough to make basic stuff. Shower was great.

Things not so good: The Wi-Fi wasn’t great. Tiny wash basin the the bathroom a bit of a pain to use. Not sure why it was so small - there was space for one of normal size.

Location was perfect,hotel needs needs a bit of work, Staff was very good,front counter good,pool was clean area around it very clean,staff that cleaned our room very good

Room needs a bit of fixing Cupdoor fell off Cord (air-conditioning)hang over the door when you tried to close it Bathroom keeped falling of

We had a lovely time in Mandurah. Going away with a toddler isn’t always easy but this stay was perfect. Hotel was close to everything within walking distance. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and the room clean and tidy and the bed was so comfortable. We can’t wait to go back.

That we had to leave haha one night wasn’t enough. Definitely going for two next time.

A window to open to get fresh air. A big parking bay outside the door. Sufficient bowls, cups & utensils for an overnight stay. Local literature to read.

The room has been very recently renovated. The hand basin is too small for washing your face or filling the kettle. The shower had no ledge to hold the soap or shampoo. Two bed side lights would be a bonus.
