Seashells Mandurah

Beachside pool was great (although lounger cushions have seen better days). Easy to walk into Mandurah (20 mins) and around harbourside area. Great choice of local restaurants/cafes nearby. Our 1 bed apartment was large with plenty of seating and cushions. The bed was very comfortable. Free movies and WiFi.

The room was a bit tired. Bathrooms need a lift. Not all rooms are equal judging by the reviews. We had a few concerns that we had to mention on arrival, but everything was dealt with very promptly by staff. No safe in rooms. Smoking is allowed on balconies, which means smoke blowing into the room if someone smokes next door.

Generally the villa was well equipped and certainly spacious. The decor and furniture were really nice and comfortable. The balcony was fabulous. The pool facilities are outstanding, and being right on the beautiful town beach is a huge bonus. Walking distance to great restaurants and little shops makes life easy.

The master bedroom needs its own air conditioner as it has no windows, and the lounge room one faces away from the bedroom. The bathroom was a little tired (needs new blinds) and the floor was very dusty/dirty. New ‘extra’ rugs for the beds required. The beds were lovely but a little firm. Great pillows though.

Location and views were stunning. Perfect swimming pool for children, would be nice to have a cafe by the pool. The beach is right there and walking to cafes and restaurants. Proximity to Perth, only 1 hour away from Perth. Free parking at the property.

The front desk service wasn't that friendly and polite, it was nice but still leaves some room for improvement. It would be also nice to have a small cafe in the hotel just for those who arrive with children and have no food. Not enough umbrellas in the swimming pool. The swimming pool gate needs to be fixed.

The location! Literally walk out your sliding door onto the beach (or overlook it from the infinity pool!) and it’s only short walk to the marina for breakfast (Cafe Moka!). It felt like a quiet haven in what was, surprisingly, the busy little city of Mandurah. We are usually real explorers when on holidays but it was so incredibly lovely we just wanted to stay in 😍! The spa, bed, lounge and dining area all looked over the beach, a view from everywhere. And there’s really nothing better than listening to the waves as you fall asleep.

Hard to pick any faults with this one. Given how BEAUTIFUL the bathroom, shower, spa area was it would have been lovely to have nicer (premium) toiletries. Towels for the pool being in room (rather than at reception) would be great also. And perhaps a better guide on what to do and where to eat. But that’s nitpicking really.

Loved the location and the positioning right at water’s edge! It was a wonderful feeling walking in on the first day and sighting the beautiful pool and view out back. I was a single woman travelling alone and felt very safe and at home at Seashells. Convenient for coffee and dining options and Plein Air Down Under activities.

I liked pretty much everything! I do wish there had been a bathtub. And I preferred the aqua colour scheme to the orange.

The location was amazing, close enough to enjoy everything Mandurah has to offer. Yet still comfortable and quiet enough to just relax on the balcony and relax.

Having to buy pods for the coffee machine. There were enough options for coffee nearby, so I'm not sure why they bothered to have the machine in the room at all. Bathroom basics minimal 1 cake of soap for 2 people for 6 night? Just made very nice accommodation seem like a backpackers.

The room was clean and spacious. We had a balcony overlooking the marina. The bed was comfortable. It had everything you needed. I would recommend staying there.

I know you don't go on holidays to watch TV but after a day out you look forward to vegging out in front of the TV. Unfortunately it didn't have any sound. We did contact after hours reception and it seems that there was an issue with the box and he couldn't do anything about it. Morning reception said the manager would contact us but as yet (3 days later) we haven't heard anything so that is a bit disappointing.

The 2 bedroom accommodation/apartment was a great size. Plenty of room for 4 adults, 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms. The kitchen area had it all and was a good size. Plenty of parking, pool, spa, kids pool, BBQ cooking area. Easy 3 minute walk to everything, coffee shops, Restaurants, the beach, the boardwalk, the markets & the Christmas shop. Great room views.

Could not arrange an earlier check-in, arrived after midday. Trained/scripted answer rather than checking, could be ready any time up to 2pm.

the room are absolutely beautiful we stayed in a one bedroom apartment river view we had everything we needed…all separate rooms was perfect because the husband goes to bed early so we could close the doors didn’t have to pay for movies 🍿 was all included .Spa bath was so enjoyable and the bathrooms had large towels which was a first ,we have had that normally bring our own and the staff very helpful

if you wanted your doors open to your balcony was a lot of traffic noise being on the river side but but still a 10 out of 10

I liked the large apartment which was very clean. Loved the washing and drying facilities in the room. Loved the pool area always plenty of sunbeds too with no one reserving them.

There was a strong smell of cigarettes in our room, we had to have the verandah door open all night to ventilate the room as my husband had a night with no sleep due to coughing. The housekeeping team did come to the room very promptly when i reported the issue though
