Hyatt Place Calgary Airport

Great selection for breakfast and all the food was very fresh. The hotel and bedroom were very clean and modern with comfortable beds and pillows. There was no noise in the corridors and very easy to sleep undisturbed even though the hotel was busy on a Saturday night. Easy parking. The majority of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Best value for money in the area.

Asked for extra warm bedding for the sofa bed but only received 3 fitted white sheets. Ordered orange pekoe regular tea or English breakfast tea at the bar/restaurant but the staff member seemed unsure and when I got back to my room with the tea I was disappointed to discover that I had received some sort of tea that was orange flavored.

The room was a good size with a really great L-shaped couch. Perfect for conversations, as there were four of us travelling together. The ottoman was perfect for either resting legs, or placing food/drinks or playing a small board game! The little partition between the sitting area and bed was really nice. The decor in the room and around the hotel was lovely. The breakfast was beautifully presented with a lot of warm/cold choices, including juices. Not too busy, but we were there midweek, so maybe when hotel is fuller it could get busy in there. The staff were super friendly!!

The oatmeal was runny. Thicken it up folks :) Not much of a negative, really 😁

The hotel was nice and clean. Most of the staff were very friendly. My house keeper was amazing, we just had to leave her a little something. Breakfast was satisfactory, and the kitchen staff were helpful. Beds were comfortable. The gym is also good.

I didn't like the area, you would need a vehicle to get around. The location is good for those that need a hotel near the airport. We had a very bad experience with the road being closed at night to get back to the hotel. We didn't know how to get back to the hotel, it took us 2 hours to get back to the hotel because the GPS kept giving us the same route. We had to call the customer service center and they transferred us to the front desk which gave us a back road. It was a nightmare. Hopefully the road construction is over. I won't be staying here again because of the location and limited road access to the hotel.

Breakfast was great. Tasty with a lot of hot options. The pull out couch is super comfortable, however, only very thin blanket provided. Staff were very helpful.

The bathroom design is very unfortunate. Sink on the outside which means everyone wakes up at the same time as the light floods the room. The toilet and shower are separated by a sliding frosted door - not much privacy. The shower pressure was somewhat soft. Although the free shuttle bus was appreciated and the driver super helpful, I was not aware that we needed to call the property upon arrival to let them know we needed a pick up, which is important information to know.

This was our first stay at Hyatt Place Calgary and we stayed only one night. It's a spacious hotel. Breakfast was hot and complimentary. We stayed in a room with two queen beds and a sofa bed. Room was sophisticated and clean. Had new fresh bed sheets on beds. Front office staff was friendly and helpful. Need a room card to ride the elevator. After one stay felt it's more suitable for solo travelers business travelers and young couples.

The only negative thing I saw was there was no microwave in the room. They have a common shared microwave in the breakfast area.

Super close to the airport, great rooms, excellent service! Check-in is always less than 5 minutes, hot breakfast in the morning.

The hotel is modern with clean lines and fresh decore! The beds were comfortable and the room was very roomy with almost everything we needed as a family!

There were two things we missed while we stayed. One was a face cloth. There was nothing to use to wash with in the shower and the hotel cleaning lady wasn’t even sure what a face cloth was! The 2nd thing was a pool! The pool is advertised so we chose the Hyatt for this reason. The pool was under a Reno or something. My children were pretty disappointed!

Big thank you for the shuttle service from the airport upon just a call to the property. Even though it was late at night we got picked up and were dropped of at the hotel. We asked for the shuttle for the morning ride and it was well organized as well.

Everything was good for our one night stay. For the breakfast we were missing some vegetables, but even without them, it was good.

The young man at the bar looked after me when the kitchen was closed 1/2 hour before the advertised time He was pleasant and went out of his way to help me

The young lady at registration was rude and was very abrupt I called in advance to ask when the restaurant would close and was told 10:30 I got there at 10:00 the registration desk said sorry but the kitchen staff had left When I questioned this I was rudely cut off

It was a beautiful hotel.Our experience started from the Airport.The hotel shuttle driver was friendly and very warm.Our room was clean and welcoming.The breakfast was sumptious and delicious.There is a restaurant within the hotel to dine in if to lazy to go out.

We loved our time there.We were specially accorded our request to face the mountain view.What a site to behold!!
