Chinook Motel

I was very happy with my stay here. The room was clean, the bed was firm and comfortable, really enjoyed the big flat screen tv, the fridge, microwave, great coffee, friendly staff. The room stayed warm even though it was -30 outside. A man came around three times during the day to shovel the sidewalk outside the rooms. It was nice and quiet - didn’t need to wear earplugs. The location is prime - close to restaurants, dollar store, Starbucks. The bathroom was large and the shower had good strong pressure water. I have no complaints about anything and would definitely stay again.

The location, the cleanliness of the room. It's an older room but well-kept. Have stayed here several other times, this is our go-to accommodation when in Lethbridge.

Not the fault of the hotel, but it would be nice to get something to eat nearby in the evening. I was late arriving due to some unforeseen events and it was hard finding anything when I arrived, about 8:30 pm.

quiet room.

Bathroom was clean, but showing its age with rust stain under sink and tub starting to rust on outside. The only negative was actually finding the front desk; I walked around the Chinook Motel and could not find a way in; a guy washing his car told me you had to register at the Ramada? My suggestion would be to put up a sign or an arrow at the end of the Chinook Motel building: "Chinook Motel - Register at Ramada."

Easily accessible from Hwy 3, lots of restaurants and shopping nearby, room was clean and comfortable, and it was quiet. One thing I find is that too many motels and hotels have poor lighting, but this room had several lights AND a heat lamp in the bathroom. The motel is an older one but is very well maintained. The desk staff were both accommodating and friendly.

I really wish there had been a blow dryer in the room as I forgot mine, but it was a minor inconvenience. There was very little else that I can think of.

While it basically had nothing to do with the facility itself, the room right next to us was rented to an older man. EVERY time we opened our door to leave OR we pulled in with our van, he came out of his room, letting his big dog out first to come at us & bark at us. Yes, he reassured us that the dog was okay, but late at night, in the dark, I'm not sure my heart was!!!

It is super affordable and clean. The rooms are basic and dated but if you are just looking for a cheap place to sleep and get some work done, it’s great. I stay here every weekend and have found it to be great.

The wifi is not the best in certain rooms.

It's easily accessible from Hwy 3, there are lots of restaurants, liquor store, pizzeria, car wash, etc., in the immediate area. The rooms are older but very clean and comfortable. The breakfast for $6 was good, too. It was very quiet, no outside noises in the room. The front desk staff are really accommodating and efficient.

Wish the pizza place next door was open later, but otherwise, it's a good place to stay and good value.

The employees where friendly and helpful, very accommodating. The beds were comfortable and the price was right.

The road works, which is not something under the motels control. I would give this place an excellent if it wasn't for the road works. I would stay here again after the works are complete.

Was great, we needed a inexpensive room because we were having our carpets cleaned and allergic to the moisture, chemicals, etc. It even had a very nice free hot breakfast in hotel next door. Highly recommend.
