Coast Capri Hotel

Loved the balcony, the pool area with the music on and being able to get water at the bar. Very nice staff too.

I would say although it's not far from downtown, it's not the best location for those who don't have a car because it's not right downtown and it's not near a beach. It is a bad intersection to cross. It was too long to walk ( I did it my first day). It is fast by bus, but because I needed to take a bus, I couldn't go back and forth between going out and back to the hotel.

The dinner we had in the dining area was more than excellent...the wait staff were friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Kudos to the chef for the fresh and delicious meal which was cooked to perfection. It is always a good thing to dine in the facility you are staying at for at least one meal as so often, as in the case of the Coast Capri, the offerings are wonderful. It was a shame the actual Vintners Grill Dining room was closed - to add that little extra 'ambiance' to the delicious food, and provide a bit more separation from the open areas.

Awesome stay! We stayed very last minute after we lost another booking and the hotel was extremely helpful in getting us set up with 4 rooms at a moments notice. They were really quick at getting back to me about an early check in and the hotel was awesome. Great rooms, bed were comfy, facilities were clean, and the pool is a very nice area for hanging out. Location is also very good, about 30 minute stroll from the downtown core of Kelowna.

Nothing! Thanks for the stay an if we need another place to stay in Kelowna then this will definitely be where we will stay next time.

When traveling to Kelowna we keep coming back to Coast Capri. Reasonable price for clean room, comfy bed, nice staff, good location to visit all the stores and restaurants along the hwy, close to downtown as well. We usually travel for one night only and this is definitely a satisfactory place for this purpose.

I think our room was listed as 'superior king room' or something like that on the booking. There is nothing really superior about it, it's just a room :) bathroom (and maybe the whole room) may need some updating soon, but everything is clean and serves the purpose

Very attractive hotel. Nice design and decor. The front desk staff were so friendly and genuine. We loved Liza. She was so nice, and so welcoming to our dog. We thought it was really cute that you get a doggy bowl, a towel for the dog and a treat when you check in. Really sweet idea. Lots of places that say they are dog-friendly are really only "dog tolerant". The Coast Hotel is truly dog-friendly.

Nothing. The mattresses were pretty good but I would prefer a memory foam. I guess because that's what I'm used to.

Good location- Lots to do in the area. The place was well kept and the room was spacious. Pet friendly. The manager Kevin was superb and ensured that I had the best stay. He would check in with me during the duration of my stay whenever he saw me and would ensure that I was content. He would recommend places to see and where to eat and was a great conversationalist. He is a wonderful manager, professional and hard working.

A bit of an overpriced stay, but that may just be the area. The pool was sometimes overcrowded but that’s to be expected when it’s hot out.

room was clean, nicely appointed, and well air-conditioned. Location was very good and there were plenty of other services in area.

The hotel is quite nice. The Vintages restaurant, however, needs a complete "re-think". The staff and food were "so-so". Playing KISS hits on Sunday evening makes no sense. There is zero ambiance here. The Caesar salad was covered in tired cheese and bacon, absent lemon wedges. The chicken wings were very aged, dry, and lifeless. Everything was quite flavorless. With proper planning, staff, and a better menu, this could be a real money maker------but as it is, the competition can and does easily overwhelm.

Two things… The bed was sooo comfy. Nice to get up in the night and not hear the bed squeak. Lol Breakfast for two mornings… compliments to the chef for the eggs Benny. 💕. Our waitress was more than awesome. I wish I can remember her name, but she had an accent and seemed to be the head waitress. The second morning we had breakfast, I ordered the same eggs Benny, and she remembered how I liked it! She didn’t write anything down…it just arrived perfect. Such a treat! Also, the manager at the time, gave us a complimentary breakfast, as we mentioned that we found the spare blanket in the closet was covered in something not suitable for use. He was very gracious. Now…here is another scenario, and I ask your opinion…. When we checked out, I wanted to purchase your lovely hair conditioner. No problem. However, I wanted to charge it to MY credit card, and it kept charging the current credit card that had paid for the two nights. I ended up paying cash for the item. Then, when we got home, we were missing a bag with some delectable treats from Costco, which I can’t get here in Castlegar…. “Lacey’s Cookies”…. Two expensive containers full! 🙁😞. I made several calls, and finally reached the front desk and explained our dilemma. He said, “Oh yes…we have those in our (something) room and thought it was a gift from a guest. I just told him, I guess seniors are really forgetful after all, and we left our bag on the bench and accidentally left it behind as we carried out our luggage. I told him, we at least had peace of mind as to where they went…go ahead and have the staff enjoy them with their breaks. You run an excellent hotel, and we will definitely be back. We got a kick of the two ducks in the pool too. 💕. So thank you for your excellent service, and next time, I will make sure my Lacy’s Cookies are safe In my car! Lol. Comfortable bed and good shower

Most other hotels and motels have a microwave. Not here. Only one chair you can sit in for TV -- otherwise you have to lay on the bed. Our room (305) was above the entrance -- where all the smokers go to pollute the air and this pollution drifts onto our balcony. As well -- what is it with smokers? They have to talk on the phone -- speakerphone no less -- so in addition to the smoke, you get the pollution of them talking with "Uncle Jack, how are you, we are fine". I yelled at one lady -- she was not impressed with my rudeness -- MY RUDENESS. Which of us is rude. Anyway, don't get 305 for a peaceful balcony.

Very clean property, rooms were well kept and lots of parking. Location is nice and central to so able to access all of Kelowna easily.

Nothing overall it’s a good hotel. Our AC didn’t work well and tub didn’t drain properly but brought it up to front desk. Our last night we had an incident with the room next to us (new people) anyways security handled it quickly.
