that the staff was able to move me to a different room when I could not sleep in the room I was first assigned. I am most grateful that could sleep in the new room.

the first room I was in faced the pool and air conditioner accessed the pool area, which brought in moisture and the room was very musty, my allergies were quite bad due to the mold in the room. I was in the city for work and needed to get my sleep. the noise in the hallway did not let me sleep either.

Centre of town, comfortable bed and very clean room. We had just returned from Europe and this hotel was a breath of fresh air since we stayed in many hotels with questionable standards. it was nice to have a clean room and a comfortable bed for the first time in weeks. We also appreciated the Denny’s being right inside the hotel and made breakfast very easy.

We were located right over the pool and a large sports team was very noisy using it at night (we were trying to sleep early due to jet lag). That is no fault of the hotel, but if you’re looking for a good nights rest I would ask to be located away from the pool.

There was a miss communication about my reservation and I needed to stay an extra night. The woman at the front desk was very understanding and extended me another night at the same discounted rate I was already receiving. Sorry I didn't catch her name, but she was a brunette that spoke with an accent. Delightful! Also, I needed handicapped parking and there was no shortage of designated spots, which was a great relief.

There were a lot of young people staying at the hotel and some of them would chase each other up and down the halls outside my room. Not really the hotel's fault, but it sounded like thunder.

Accessible, near to most of the attractions, Front Desk Jane did an exceptional job in extending her help for us. Jane offers us so many things even putting us in the rooms where there is sliding doors going to the pool and hot tub. Jane was so helpful, she went above and beyond to help us

Basement rooms are not accessible from the elevator, you have to cary all your stuff up the stairs

I liked that my room was on the ground floor and so easily accessible from the parking lot. The fact that there was no charge for parking was definitely a bonus. The full-sized fridge was great. I had not expected a kitchenette.

It was disappointing that there was no continental breakfast. The fridge had not been cleaned properly because there was an empty pizza box with used napkins, etc in it when I arrived. There were too many children in the pool to be able to enjoy it.

staff was inundated with evacuees from Merritt and were extremely kind and accommodating! At this time of crisis all the rest seems insignificant. Many thanks to the management for their consideration to the crisis affected persons. And making on-the-spot changes and decisions without a second thought! When the times return to normal. there is no other hotel we would even consider to stay at when we return to BC. God bless these business people with a conscience and heart!!

The Hotel was in a great location, everything we needed was within walking distance. Your staff were friendly and helpful - offering suggestions on the restaurants and pubs in the area. We found the rooms very clean and the beds, pillows, etc. were very comfortable. The poolside seating area was a nice touch as well as the room balconies overlooking the pool area. It made it easy for a quick "chat" with each other to make plans to get together later on. Normally we use an App to communicate with each other, however, some of us had issues "signing in" with your new Wi-Fi system again.

I am not sure if it is related to COVID-19 and the hotel wants to save money, save energy or if it is the machines themselves - but this was the 3rd Sandman Hotel we stayed in this summer that the ice machine on our floor was not working. In this particular case - it was a little more inconvenient than the other hotels as we had to go to the 3rd Floor of the adjoining building to get ice. As a note, not one of the ice machines in our building were in working order.

Location was perfect and close to all amenities.

Building does not have an elevator going up. If rooms assigned are far, guest needs to walk up the stairs with luggage, then walk along the corridor. Luckily, Aman at the front desk was very helpful and changed our rooms to ground level. She also showed us the back door entrance and parking to make it easier for us. Room door was very hard to close.

I quite enjoyed the location. The room itself was very comfortable and spacious with great security for more self comfort when travelling alone.

I have always stayed at Sandman when in Kelowna, there is no complaints whatsoever. The location, staff, rooms are very excellent in service.
