The front desk attendant was very helpful and friendly. The sink wasn’t draining properly in our room so he gave us another room immediately. We left before 6:00 so breakfast wasn’t available yet. However there were some fruit that was provided in a bowl at reception for us to have.

Large room, huge comfortable bed, useful fridge in room, friendly, helpful staff and a surprisingly varied breakfast offering with hot and cold choices, plus a clever machine to make your own fresh pancakes. This hotel is sited far enough away from the highway and railroad which sandwich this small town that we didn't get disturbed by noise from either.

During our visit the wi-fi either did not work or was slow - despite the best efforts of staff to fix it. Valemount offered limited options for dining in midweek September, quite a few places being closed - but we loved the Japanese/Korean restaurant we found. It didn't affect us, but to be aware the hotel has no elevator, so if you struggle with stairs maybe ask for a ground floor room.

Very substantial breakfast with lots of choices. Very pleased to have use of laundry facilities, 2 dollars for washer and for drier excellent value. Friendly staff and gave us a bottle of water for the journey

and liked it very much. we have a suggestion for improvement: in Europe there are no plastic cutlery or paper plates in any hotel. with us everything is made of ceramic and reusable. From the point of view of sustainability and environmental protection, I think it makes much more sense. so I think it would be great if you handled it that way in the future.

Nice large room with comfortable king size bed. Super friendly and welcoming staff. Sitting area for breakfast was quite cosy and lodge-like. Breakfast was relatively simple. Microwave and fridge in the room is clearly a plus. The location is very calm and there are a few restaurants nearby.

Not many EV charging stations nearby.

Great for an overnight stay. Rooms were comfortable and they were able to accommodate us on the ground floor which was very helpful. Breakfast was basic but good. Bread was thick wedges which was awesome. Highly recommend Caribou Grill which is down the road if you are staying at the hotel overnight.

While I only chose coffee, it was ready and good right after 6:00 AM and I noticed that the tidiness and cleanliness was above average compared to many other hotels I have stayed in recently.

The electronic room keys take multiple swipes before activating the lock. I find this in many hotels but this one was rather frustrating to use.

Loation was great - within walking distance of a bar and grill and a very short distance to a service station and the highway. The breakfast was ample and hot.

The internet reception was slow. Having said that and although I used it, it was not a necessity. However, someone relying on it for business might have been disappointed.

Quick checkin, friendly staff, easy access to the room or to go outside. Rooms were clean and quiet.

Parking lot was busy on the Friday-Sunday rush. The layout is tight with a pickup truck and awkward to maximize the space without blocking someone or something. Friday night was tough to find a parking spot. Left for dinner and when I returned the parking lot was Jammed full with limited awkward spots left. No one complained at my only option for parking and it was all good. This was about the only downside to the location, and didn’t affect my stay. Overall I would stay there again.
