Tantramar Motel

This was a very good room. I had to spend an entire month there due to a house fire, and the entire experience was absolutely stress free. The owners are very hospitable and polite, and made me feel very welcome. The location is a short walk from downtown Sackville. It's not as far out as it may seem at first. There is also an interesting waterfowl park nearby. I would ignore any negative reviews. Some people like to cause issues. 🙄 Mosquitoes may be an issue in the summer, but an Off mosquito coil lit up outside the room door took care of that issue for me. Sackville IS on the edge of a marsh. Mosquitoes will happen in the summer.

The only issue I had during my entire stay was the wifi internet speed. It can be a little slow at times. But otherwise, it worked fine. If it gets too slow, just mention it to the staff/owners.

Greeted so wonderfully! The owner was super nice, funny and thoughtful Gave me extra towels for my little one without even asking!! The room was amazing! Super clean and really large and spacious!!! Beds were amazing, probably the best sleep I’ve had since visiting here. Nicely updated washroom spacious and super clean, one of the best I’ve seen to date! Super quite area can’t hear a thing. Great location , cute little town 3min down the street. Great restaurant down the street “the painted pony bat & grill” !!

They were very accommodating and manager took the time to show us the room. It was last minute booking so we had no real expectations but it was a pleasant and comfortable place that met our needs.

The comfortable chairs in the room had the legs broken on one. Seemed an easy thing to fix or remove altogether if repair was not possible. This simple attention to detail tends to make the difference sometimes.

There was no breakfast offered. It was satisfactory value for the money. The room was basic but clean. Quiet surroundings. The location was convenient as it was fairly close to the water fowl park and university.

In the shower, it is advisable that a shampoo dispenser be installed rather than the small packages, which are out of dare and wasteful. Also, there was only a small bar of used soap available. Acce

Super nice owners, clean room with no weird smells, overall very simple atmosphere that was exactly what we needed after a long drive. The tiny dog in the cute sweater who hung out in the main lobby was so friendly as well, what a treat!

In room coffee, very quiet despite being close to highway, good value. Room was very clean on arrival, bed was comfortable. Sackville NB very nice town, Very pleased

Ceiling and bathroom tiles somewhat dated, doesn’t bother me any but some guests may take issue

Location was 4 minutes to Mount Allison and just 1 minute to the hwy. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

Pillows were a little lumpy and the top of the electric heater in the bathroom along with the bathroom baseboards needed cleaning.

The owners were lovely! The motel room was super clean, and main flooring was nice new wood floor (less dusty! clean!), and the bed/mattress were great. I slept so well. And appreciated the fridge, microwave, coffee maker.

Value and distance to Hwy.

It was showing signs of age. There were spiders and webs around the entrance door. It needs some sprucing up.

We were greeted by a lovely woman who was very friendly. She proudly showed us to our renovated room. It was a pleasant surprise. It was my first stay but won't be my last.
