Loved having a balcony with a view & access to the river right outside our room. Also having a restaurant on site was perfect. We LOVED the LIVE KITCHEN/TABLE BAND that just happened to be performing on our one night stay!

Four couples travelling together. Three had balcony rooms. One couple unfortunately did not so they were a bit disappointed. The rooms were great! Exterior of the Inn is showing a bit of wear & tear. But overall a great place!

Breakfast was an additional charge at this location so we opted out. The location was perfect in that it was right on the water and a short walk to shops, restaurants and the downtown core. The king room was very spacious and had a side view of the water.

Breakfast was not included but was available at the on site restaurant. The doors to the rooms are very heavy and you could hear people from adjacent rooms come and go.

The meals were good and the service was excellent. The price was right and the location was outside the normal tourist crush around Lunenburg on the weekend. Had a large food store with reasonable prices and fuel was cheaper.

I like a firmer mattress . A refresh of the carpeting in the entrance way of the main area.

The veiw was great . We had a good breakfast on Sunday morning. We were close to everything and able to get around the town easily. I loved getting up early mornings and enjoying my coffee outside on the deck.

I wish there had been chairs to sit on outside on the deck for my morning coffee. The floor creaking stepping into the bathroom

Good basic room for a fair price. Conveniently located between Lunenburg and Kejimkujik National Park. The attached restaurant has great atmosphere and good food.

Not many frills. Staff not around in the morning. No breakfast on site.

Beautiful room and the inn was full of charm and history in a gorgeous location. Our room was so comfortable, with a microwave, fridge, large tv and excellent modern air conditioning, which was a huge relief on a hot day. The beds and shower were perfect!

Sadly the restaurant was fully booked so we were unable to dine at the inn. They were also closed for breakfast due to covid. However, staff were very helpful and recommended an alternative nearby.

I liked this history of the building and the view! Liverpool has much to offer such a hidden gem in general

I wished the cafe was open earlier for those who stayed at the inn to get coffee sooner but I also understand they're super short staffed right now overall I can't complain it was a nice trip

We were here a year ago and we came back because we liked the motel so much as well as the town of Liverpool. Some friends of ours moved there so now we have an excuse to come back again

nothing to dislike :)

Character inn tastefully decorated and downright beautiful 😍.

Real wood. Antiques all over. Carefully maintained. Attention to details like a 3rd curtain in window for better blackout. Easy roon temp control so can be cool yet quiet. Location stupendous on mouth of the Mersey River.
