Travellers Inn

Location was great; middle of everything. Parking was great. walking distance to Tim’s (bonus). staff was efficient and polite; quick to respond to pillow/linen request. Clean, no complaints.

Louder due to being next to retail and down the street from the casino; nothing excessive but if you’re a light sleeper it may be an issue. Bed was a bit more firm then half our party preferred but definitely a personal preference.

I was disappointed the freezer needed defrosted, and I had to move it because some rolled under it was quite dirty and baseboards needed cleaning behind the fridge. Definitely needed a cleaning and also under the bathroom garbage container. Other than those two things, the room wS clean and very comfortable. Nice decorated too. I would definitely stay there again. Price was excellent!!!!

I was happily surprised by how comfortable the bed and pillows were! I've slept in many accommodations before all over the world, and nothing has been that comfy! All amenities were fantastic, and I loved how close the Dollarama, Food Basics and Timmies were! Traveling with a small child this was a huge bonus!

I agree with other reviews, that the exterior needs attention: The recent renovations only focused on the interior which is great, and I'm guessing c-19 put a bit of a pause on any exterior renos. Little things like weeding around the exterior of the rooms would be nice - there was a giant ragweed right outside the door. The room was clean, but there was a lot of residue on the floors and the tub was incredibly slippery. As a professional cleaner myself, I found that to be very worrisome. Also unsure why there are no up to code safety bars within the bathrooms. The interior doors should be replaced with fire doors as well.

the fact they are working hard on renovating and updating the property

the renovation was messy continuously tracking dirt into our room. parking off the property was inconvenient. felt we should have been notified of the construction being done ahead of our stay.

The only thing was, on the metal rod on the wall had something sticky and grease like substance on it. Didn't notice it until I took my pants done and the substance was on my pants. I tried my best to clean it off and I think I got most of it off. However I did not mention it to the staff and I should have, as they will probably be able to clean it thoroughly. Got home washed my pants and unfortunately the substance did not come off 😢😢

Very clean, each room had access to outside and hallway. So made it very convenient for dogs.

There was an extra charge for pets, which we were not made aware of. We didn’t mind paying the extra but the staff was upset with us for not telling them we had pets. When booking online it gave us no option to select that we were travelling with pets or that we needed to request a pet friendly room. Other than that the property was fine, very clean and we would stay there again.

Very good little coffee machine in the room. Nice to have shampoo, a microwave, an air conditioner, a quiet fridge, a very comfy desk chair, lots of plugs and a comfy bed. Very quiet place. Fun to.park right in front of your room in the classic motel style.

My was very clean,, bathroom was amazingly clean,,the bed was very comfortable, very quiet location,, I will be staying there again and again,, I have no complaints whatsoever

Excellent spot to take in the harness races, which are literally across the street. Room was clean and quiet. Tim Hortons next door.

television/cable wasn't connected/working properly. Big screen, no images. Thin dormitory door between you and interior hallway.

It is a beautiful place to stay for couple days.. but I would recommend they keep the sleeping sheet clean….. one of the bed had blood on it and we didn’t see it unit we were leaving 😷😣 another then that it was okay
