Location of the hotel beside the Bay is really the only good thing probably I can think of.
Pretty much nothing. Worst value for my money. In the last 7 days I have been on road trips, stayed in various hotels in Scarborough, Markham, Collingwood, Owen Sound and literally this was the worst place for the $. Most expensive for one night stay. Paid nearly $300 for one night stay- they gave a room with a parking lot view, was expecting at least a good view of the Bay. Room was just ok, nothing to remember fondly. For this price , even breakfast wasn’t included. The front staff were ok I guess. Bathroom wasn’t great either. Overall not going back to this place. Not happy with the value for the $. Even swimming pool/sauna were closed. Many hotels have them open to guests with some restrictions in place.

My room was a good size and one window had a lakeview. The room temperature can be adjusted easily. The beds and pillows are comfortable, and medium softness. The room overall feels clean. What I like the most was the location. Great to take a morning walk along the lakeshore. The staff was polite and helpful.
The price is a bit higher though. I will stay here again if the price is lower. In this price range, I might shop again and try other cute newer cottages in the nearby Sauble Beach area.

I had King Suite for 4 adults, there should be 2 proper beds for 4 adults. Whereas there was 1 bed and 1 sofa bed. sofa bed was horribly uncomfortable. Hard and not as expected by paying maximum for the best room of this hotel. Whoever took turns on sofa bed couldn’t sleep all night. There should be 2 beds in this suite. Sofa bed was a torture for 2 adults out of 4 who slept on it after a tiring ski day.

The hotel was very clean, staff were polite and friendly. Whirlpool and sauna were relaxing.
We didn’t like the fact that the garbage truck was there for a 6:30 a.m. pick up and the bin was directly outside our room. The hotel is in an industrial area but not far from downtown.

Everyone goes above and beyond to make your stay the best it could be.
Only thing I could say was there was one person in the restaurant that looked so miserable I wouldn't ask her for anything. She didn't appear to be a waitress thank goodness! She clearly didn't want to be there!

What a great location! Morning run next to the lake garden followed by breakfast at the hotel patio with the view was amazing. Very nice staff as well. Room with breakfast was not available but when I called to add it Angela was very helpful. She also managed it all with Booking.com. We were getting late for cruise in the morning so staff packed our breakfasts for to go.. superb service!
Little further away than tobermory or grotto but then again we made the choice based on the views. Wish we could spend more time to enjoy rest of the amenities

Friendly check-in staff and tidy room with a very clean walk-in shower and whirlpool tub. Lots of hot water and fluffy, clean robes. The staff helpfully booked me a time to use the spa facilities. I also requested rooms that looked onto the water and I got them. Thanks!
The room could use some minor maintenance (paint walls, especially around whirlpool and in bathroom). Carpets need a shampoo (though it is winter, to be fair).

We had snacks later in the evening. Very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had one waitress who went over and above to accommodate my needs. My husband is diabetic and not feeling well for a full meal. She accomadated by getting us something lighter.

I found the breakfast disappointing. The order was an omelette with bacon. It came to the table with a nasty colour, and what was inside looked and tasted like sweepings from an old frying pan. The server was very apologetic, and didn't charge for the meal. My husband's breakfast was good. This all should have gone below! However, both servers, Joy, in the evening before, and Mikaela at breakfast were great
