DoubleTree Fallsview Resort & Spa by Hilton - Niagara Falls

I like the service, comfort and value. The hotel was clean and helpful.

I didn't like that the pool was crowded. A family was letting their children run around the pool area (yell, splash, and not watching out for others) I wish there was more of an adult swim, where the pool and hot tub are open for adults to relax and enjoy a quit retreat.

The front office staff, Mr. Guljit, Ms.Jenny and an Indian (Sikh) young girl were extremely welcoming and helpful. When I requested Mr.Guljit to upgrade us to Fallsview room, he took full interest and allocated us a good room at the required charges. The location of hotel is excellent, just a few minutes walk to the Niagara falls and all main attractions.

I had booked a room for 5 persons for which the rate was higher but when I asked for the availability of bed for the 5th person I was asked to pay extra charges for the roll bed which otherwise was supposed to be built in higher room rate charged for 5 persons. Anyhow the bed provided was comfortable. The quality of staff at guest relations needs to be improved.

The view from our room was awesome. Night & Day was amazing. Beds were comfy, a little discomfort with the cot but it was all good🤗 I love that there’s a coffee shop in the lobby♥️ 10/10😁♥️the location is walking distance to the falls and clifton hill, probably 5mins to Skylon. We will surely come back🤗♥️

Not to be picky. But there was only one sink and it’s in the washroom. You have to wait for the person inside to finish until you get access to it. It could’ve been better if there was an extra one just where the coffee machine is. But nothing to complain. All was awesome 🤗 Thank you

Easy check in with no surprises. Everything exactly as listed. nice view and spacious rooms. Room was clean and it worked well for one night stay. we didn’t end up getting breakfast so can’t comment on that, but little bar in lobby was nice with good coffee. if know where your room is located you can park your car the way you see it from your room. parking lot is around whole hotel.

I can’t believe such a big hotel still doesn’t have EV chargers. (they do offer charging from regular plug of lamp post around parking lot with your own cable) our room was a too hot over night even with cold air turned on.

The hotel is beautiful, spacious and very clean! We've been to the DoubleTree a few times now, and every time we visit, we are always satisfied. There is a steakhouse in the hotel called Buchanan's steak & seafood and the food was absolutely delicious. We eat at that restaurant every time that we visit the hotel.

That there wasn't any type of convenience store in the hotel. It is definitely big enough to add in a store if you need anything during the night. It would make it easier to not have to leave the hotel. We left a few times to grab snacks, drinks, toothbrushes etc.

I would absolutely love if there was a EV charger(s) on site. It looks like the building could support multiple. If there was an EV charger this hotel would immediately provide direct value as my transportation cost would go down. The charger doesnt even have to be free charging (even at 1.5$/hour its a win) - there are many charge point firms (flo, SWTCH, ChargePoint) which would even cover half of the installation cost. Old Stone Inn Boutique Hotel offers this for free

the room was very nice. The veiw was great. The only problem we had with the room the ac unit didn't work that great. Looked like the air filter needed cleaned but other than that the room was in brand new conditition. Staff were like family. The pool/hot tub area was very nice. Didn't eat there and the price was a little high but it was that whole area.

nothing that I could tell you about. We were only there one night so didn't have a huge amount of time to experience anything we didn't like.

ROOM WAS BIG. CLEAN. VIEW WAS GOOD. THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND THE HOTEL LOBBY AND COMMON AREAS WERE LARGE AND BRIGHT. THE INDOOR RESTAURANT AND SNACK BAR WERE VERY CLEAN, FAST, AND THE FOOD WAS GOOD.

DAILY HOUSEKEEPING WAS NOT DONE AT ALL (ALTHOUGH IF REQUIRED WAS AVAILABLE ). THE TELEVISION PROGRAM (GUIDE) FOR THE TV CHANNELS WAS NOT AVAILABLE SO THAT YOU COULD SELECT YOUR PROGRAMS TO WATCH (OR PLAN TO WATCH) WITHOUT CLICKING THROUGH EACH CHANNEL (ABSOLUTELY APPALLING WITH TODAY'S SELECTION OF TV PROVIDERS ). THE PRICES OF TV MOVIE RENTALS WAS OUTRAGEOUS. THERE WAS A SECURITY DEPOSIT NECESSARY (REFUNDABLE) THAT WAS NEVER MENTIONED PRIOR TO CHECK-IN. ALSO NO MENTION OF THE EXTRA RESORT TAX ADDED ON AND ITS AMOUNT. . ANYONE ON A STRICT BUDGET SHOULD BE AWARE OF ALL COSTS (INCLUDING PARKING, AND ALL TAXES).

Location close to falls, lots of amenities incl. spa, pool & art gallery, comfortable bed, soaker tub + modern shower, panoramic view from window, hostess & personnel in restaurant very polite & friendly, tourism info available at special counter.

Currently some construction (i.e. neighboring lot & sidewalks) around the premises & hotel pavement being painted. Room toilet is low for a modern bathroom, parking cost should not be an added fee (although website specifies that it's not).

The location to everything was very nice. No need for the use of one's vehicle (unless handicapped).

We went for breakast but we didn't eat. We waited (as well as others did) for someone to at least acknowledge us. We had to grab the attention of the young manager as she walked through the restaurant several times. She wasn't even paying attention to anyone in the restaurant. We did manage to call her over for the couple at the next table who had their hand raised like she was in school. We felt saddened for them. They were just looking to get some milk for their coffee. We were displeased with this so we left and went someplace else and ate a very good breakfast. More (responsible and attentive) waitstaff is needed.
