The Glengate Hotel & Suites

They accommodated our bikes to park at night at a safe place. Our room's light and AC was not working. They upgraded us to the king suite with a balcony. We appreciate all the help. Breakfast is good and the most generous I've ever had in any canadian budget hotel. We have visited here before and we will visit again.

Sheets had small stains on them but it was barely noticeable. They should inspect for spots in every washing.

Staff was friendly, rooms were big enough. It was close to almost everything. And on a warm day you could walk anywhere you needed to. Parking is included in stay! That’s a big plus!!

The room was clean to the naked eye. But the little things popped up as the weekend went on. Little pieces of hair in the tub, the hair dryer has a coating of dust on it. There was an empty medicine box under the bed. They don’t clean the rooms before the guest checks in. Which is too bad. Because just a few quick wipes and it would have been more presentable The breakfast was included and was “alright” the some of the bagels were stale so I had to remake some stuff which isn’t fun because it’s wasteful. They water down the juice. So it’s basically water. It’s a very high carb breakfast.. which was fine.. but you just end up being hungry later and spending more money on food. (We stayed two nights and didn’t bother doing the breakfast the second time).

I loved my room with the king sized bed, with a view overlooking the mosque. My friends' room, which I paid for, had 2 queen sized beds and one of them said the bed was a bit soft but we all slept well. We loved the breakfast there. I enjoyed the waffles the lady made ( she has worked there for 1.5 years and I tip her). The manager is great and arranged rooms near to one another. I parked right by the front entrance in the handicapped spot. It is clean and the staff has always been accommodating and friendly.

I cannot think of anything I did not like. It is a budget hotel and some might consider it a bit worn but I consider it great for the price and the location is great.

We stayed there for three nights, room was nice enough. The only complaint is the comforter, doesn't seem to have been washed, we took it out and asked for maid service, housekeeping only replaced the pillow case which was perfect. The comforter had some blood stains and looked like it wasn't replaced or washed from when it was used by previous occupants. Overall, the hotel is perfect and would come back and stay there again.

Hello everyone :-D It was a great experience really. I am so happy with it. My first time going to Canada and first time of course reserving a room. I will definitely go again to this hotel in the future vacations. Room was fantastic. The front desk lady was very nice and helped me a lot with everything especially with me looking for a phone service to work in Canada because my American phone service didn’t work there and I didn’t know about that. Guys make sure you have a roaming plan or service when you visit CA from a different country.. The area around the hotel was very safe and you can see young people, women and kids walking late at night. And the most important thing of course parking was free and we found a space right after we made it there. Ohh before I forget breakfast was amazing and had lots of varieties. I had my breakfast first then went again to take more for my still sleeping kids and husband 😴😅 Good luck for the future reservation 💖👍🏻🌹

Location and Front office staff very nice and polite.

In the breakfast room staff not nice and they don't give extra milf when I asked and she said Manager will shout. But Manager is really nice and doesn't care about milf and he gave me extra milf for my coffee when I ask him. Then we ignore that women in the breakfast room who are making the waffles. No smile and no polite and she try to save milk. Come on lady. We pay more money for our stay and don't worry about just little things. I'm also hotelier and we don't care about milk. Train and master yourself hospitality and guest service. 🙄

The Breakfast was excellent: juices / coffee, 4 dry cereals and instant oatmeal on offer, fruit, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, various breads for toasting and numerous toppings (jam, Nutella, cream cheese) and a young lady on duty who was making waffles on request (as well as keeping everything stocked and clean) - didn't get her name but we were so impressed watching her we tipped her 5 bucks. Great job kid! PS. owners - that was the gal on duty on Friday morning July 28. Also, huge queen room - good quiet A/C - clean room and bathroom. It was a quiet night too and the hotel was quite full. Also, unlike lots of other hotels we looked at, they don't charge extra for the parking.

It was close to all the attractions and the falls. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We did have an issue with our room and once it was brought to the attention of management, he immediately moved us to the room next door without hesitation. It was extremely quiet. I think I only heard one door shut loudly both nights we were there. It is a little older of a hotel and could use some new lighting and a little upgrade but I would definitely stay there again.

It was a little dated and the lights were a little dark. My only true concern was that there were no safety chain locks on either of the two rooms we were in. I don’t know if something like that is mandatory, but I think I would have felt a little better knowing that some form of safety measure was on the door when I was sleeping.

We got the room with jacuzzi, it was awesome. Bed was very comfortable, very clean place. Breakfast was good, coffee was amazing . Staff super nice friendly and helpful. Parking spot always available during our staying. Price definitely good, not charges for deposit or anything else, just the exactly amount of the price offered. Definitely will stay again.

Towels were very stiffness and rough for the skin we have to buy new ones, they need to be more softener but they were very clean and white. Some electrical plugs need attention,and the room could have a dresser with drawers to put the clothes.

Have stayed there previously .Was like coming "Home". Polite, Professional Team, Efficient staff at check in and check out . No fuss and speedy check in. This was off season , hotel and city was quiet ( which is what was desired) . Breakfast was functional.Missed their amazing waffles :) ...Next time perhaps!! Facility is very clean and well maintained.

For this getaway we had little time. Wish more time was available.
