Hampton Inn Sault Ste Marie, MI

staff were all super friendly and welcoming. facilities were clean. bed was firm but comfortable. very clean sheets and room. The breakfast included in the morning was amazing and highly recommend. pool and hot tub clean. great location

the shower could have been cleaner. the pillows are uncomfortable

The cleanliness was excellent. The room was spacious and the shower and bed comfortable. Having the sofa was a help to spread out a bit. We had a flat tire and the young man at the desk was very understanding and encouraged me to extend our check out time in case the car would not be ready by 11. Thank goodness it was and did not need it but his customer service was appreciated.

The fitted sheets did not fit the king bed and the coverts were tucked in too low to cover yourself properly.

Staff was very welcoming, facility was clean, pool & hot tub looked nice ( I didn't go down and actually use it). Breakfast was included and really good.

Neighbor one floor up was super loud all night which was more rude on their part than anything the hotel has control over. I didn't enjoy the barn door style bathroom door, but it is what it is.

Close to restaurants and shopping. Close to highway so it was easy to explore several areas near Sault Ste Marie.

People in room above us seemed to stomp when they walked and it echoed in our room.

The hotel was clean and updated. Breakfast was great. Location was quite good, easy to downtown. The pool and hot tub were large and very nice.

The mattresses could have been a little firmer. Water in the shower did not get hot, warm enough though. The toilet was a little low.

Clean, economical, comfortable motel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Facility has been significantly updated. Convenient to local attractions and downtown Sault (located about 5 minutes easy drive out of central town). Breakfast options typical (including hot items). Tea and coffee in the lobby all day. Pool and exercise room looked clean but we did not use.

Breakfast was good selection, nice dining area.

A simple complaint but it was noticeable. The comforters in the room were thick and did not allow for adjusting for personal warmth preference. Suggest using an extra thinner layer to allow for different personal choices.

It was clean. Comfortable, with a big bathroom and a large room. I liked that my view was of the woods behind the hotel, so it felt private.

The ceiling was thin and I could hear the people above us whenever they walked, which they did until 3 am. We called to complain, because there seemed to be an awful lot of movement. They gave us 25% off of one nights stay which I thought was quite decent of them.

Clean and comfortable. Good location, nice pool facilities. Large bathroom.

The staff smelled like cigarettes and alcohol. The TV in our room didn’t work. Breakfast could’ve been a little bit better and bed a little softer but overall a pleasant stay.

The staff was super friendly. Very good breakfast with a nice variety. Very clean rooms and the whole facility was super clean.

A glass in the bathroom would have been nice.
