loved the location, cleanliness, and homeyness

small issue with the AC not being as responsive as it should have been to changes made on the dial. also, it was strange thsf there was a small bar of hand soap, but no body soap/shower gel. finally, it was disappointing that booking.com described the breakfast incorrectly, with the choice of either a continental breakfast or a buffer. while it was an ample breakfast with good choice, it was the standard affair (with YUMMY waffles and strawberries, although the whip cream ran out and wasn’t replaced) — but there was no (hot) buffet.

Good place to stop on the Trans-Canada. Really great value for the money and staff are helpful and friendly. Shoutout to Christina who checked us in very late and helped us resolve an issue with the reservation without any stress. Thanks also to Lilly who checked us out in the morning; this young lady did it all! Not only did she manage the front desk AND the breakfast room, she was also in and out of rooms getting started with the housekeeping. Even though she was so busy, she was attentive to all the guests needs.

The Pilgrim Inn exceeded our expectations! The staff were very friendly and helpful, our room was large and very comfortable, coffee was always brewed and waiting for guests, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed. Breakfast in the morning was a great way to start the day. It had all the basics of a self-serve breakfast and we left feeling quite satisfied. We look forward to the next time we can stay here!

Breakfast was great - especially the waffles and strawberry sauce.

We didn't really need the handicap suite. so there were a few gaps where they needn't have been. Glad you have that type of suite for those who DO need them. Some day we may be the ones.

The breakfast selection was good. The room was nice and quiet. The staff were all very nice and helpful. Everything seemed to be very clean.

The sheets were a little on the rough side (made my elbows raw after 2 nights). The lights above the bed were annoying because they prevented you from sitting up in bed, very poor choice of lighting.

The location right on the TC was very convenient and surprisingly quiet. Breakfast started early which was great for travellers on the move. A staff member happily brewed a pot of decaf coffee for us. Staff were all very friendly and helpful (right down to explaining the use of the old-style elevator).

We were excited to see a lot of outdoor plugs because we were driving a PHEV (hybrid) vehicle. But none of the plugs worked. The staff did find a spot for us to plug in at the back of the building.

Very personable staff, adequate breakfast, clean and quiet room, and excellent restaurant beside the hotel, made this a great stay for the night.

No USB plugs in the room. Shower head could be replaced for better spray.

The price, cleanliness and staff were excellent

Our room was very hot and the air conditioner made a very loud noise so we couldn’t use it. The fan on cool did little to cool the room our. However we did not let staff know as we got in late and left pretty early.

Location was the number 1 reason we stayed here. Breakfast was very good. Staff were all excellent.

An ice machine would have been nice, but it isn’t a major issue.
