Hyatt Place Santiago/Vitacura

The room was big and clean with a nice view over mountains and city. The hotel location is excellent with all the parks within a walking distance. The rooftop terrace was very nice. Also, the reception situated on the 12th floor is cool.

The restaurant could be better - the level of food and cocktails was rather low.

I traveled with my 12 y.o. son, so we wanted a place with 2 separate rooms and we used the opportunity to book a junior suite for a moderate price. The suite has 2 bathrooms and 2 TV sets, so we could benefit from some privacy. Close to the hotel in av. Vitacura there is a strip center with pizza, sushi and thai food. Though the hotel is located on a big street, inside is very quiet.

Minor stuff: I arrived in a car, and the parking is located in another tower, so you cannot use a single elevator to go from the parking to your floor - you have to go outside.

Staff were great, hotel is modern and clean, with amazing views of the mountains. Handy bar as well. Breakfast was good too. Only thing we didn't like was that the pool was closed for maintenance and that was the main reason why we chose this hotel. Everything else was fantastic.

Very well located, comfortable bed, good breakfast and gentle staff. Good place to stay when traveling for work.

The bathroom: The doors don’t close properly, the water in the shower didn’t warm up properly and there was only one strong light inside. The swimming pool is indoor and probably good in winter but very small and limited in summertime.

I liked the breakfast. Fresh fruit, juice (orange or Pineapple), hot drinks (tea, coffee, milk), eggs ( you could choose the way you wanted them), and bread. Very nice staff. I loved the pillows in the rooms ( I totally forgot to see the kind they were) and very comfy bed. The hotel smelled very nice that reminded me of a hotel US. It felt like I was in a hotel in the US at that moment. I will definitely go back again. Loved the roof terrace view, especially at night.

There was only one trash can in the room, which was the bathroom. No sugar for the coffee in the room. The bedsheets were only one of the pair. The one that goes on top. No bottom one.

The room, the beds, very good located. The hotel receptionist, Juan Carlos, is very friendly and helpfull.

Need to have more fruits for the breakfast.

Opportunity to improve, update showers in bedrooms (head shower and hand shower). More equipment in the gym.

Spacious, clean and comfortable room. Nice views. Super helpful and friendly staff. Close to restaurants and shopping, although not walking distance.

Breakfast lacked some basic things. Not great.

Reception is on floor 12 and the rooms are on floors 1-10. That makes getting to your room direct without going through the lobby, so social distancing is reduced.

A detail, I could never get the TV to tube into cable channels.
