Lovely, spacious, comfortable room with all mod-cons and a good sized balcony with superb beachfront and sea views. Pleasant indoor/outdoor, warm pool with plenty of sunbeds. Buffet breakfast was especially good with a huge number of options to choose from and an omelette/fried egg station. The staff were especially attentive and helpful which made our stay wonderful.

Parking the car outside entrance for check-in is tricky and the multi-storey car park uses reserved places for various hotels none of which included the Grand Hotel, but it turns out they are just names for various parts of the same hotel and you could park anywhere. A message to clients before arrival about the car parking and check-in arrangements would be helpful and should include the price for parking in the hotel garage.

Perfect location. Spacious, light and comfortable room. I really liked the interior design, sophisticated but not pretentious. Never tried the fitness center unfortunately but the indoor/outdoor pool was a very nice feature. One of the best things was of course that the property is on the beachfront so a dip in the ocean is quick and easy plus with a balcony towards the sea you have both a lovely view of Kvarner bay while it's also an excellent spot for people (and dog :)) watching. Staff are all smiles and very helpful. Will definitely visit again.

The big room was really nice, comfortable and renovated. Everything is provided like cosmetic, mini bar etc.

Staff is nice, but not well organised and coordinated. Room service is almost never reachable. Reception need a lot of time to respond. One day, there were bugs in the food (for which we got money after reclaiming) and bugs in the toilet.

The hotel was beautiful in a perfect setting with fabulous sea views. Loved the indoor/outdoor pool. Great location.

Wasn’t keen on the buffet restaurant in the evening which we tried once. Unfortunately on one of the nights there was really loud music from Yacht club below until 1am. The hotel are actively seeking to rectify this but it was a shame as could be put off returning.

we paid over £200 just for room - no meals, like it was AirB&B. The staff is very nice, but the service systems poor - we had to queue to ask simplest questions that should have been answered on a leaflet or online like how long is the beach open for, where to get towels for it, spa rules etc

The location of the hotel is perfect, the staff was amazing, the breakfast was very rich and super delicious, the rooms were large and the sea view was perfect.

The use of the facilities at additional cost, every little thing has to be paid at the hotel extra, from a chair on the beach until the use of the Jacuzzi is not included in the price. The gym at the hotel must be updated is so old that the use of some of its facilities is even dangerous

Beautiful old hotel with excellent facilities in a great location. Super comfy bed in our renovated room with a gorgeous balcony overlooking the stunning view of the sea and boats in the harbour. Very relaxing ....don't want to leave.

Staff is very nice, especially Iva😊. Breakfast is excellent, with lots of choices, delicious! And the lady who's making eggs and pancakes was super nice (sorry don't know her name). Location is great! Everything is within walking distance, and the Lungo Mare is great to walk, to run 👌😉 our room was with sea view, it was exceptional. The hotel is very clean!

We didn't like the dirty pigeons on the terrace and they even come inside the breakfast area! Disgusting to eat while these dirty birds are running around in a 4 star hotel. Parking is a bit further away from the reception with luggage.

Filip (host) was perfect - very kind, and the hotel's impression is excellent first of all - because of Filip. The location is excellent. The sea view is stunning. The Bar terrace is fantastic.

Nice Variety - nice setting, bright and welcoming. Really enjoyed the cold platters and sausages

The welcome wasn't great, the maitre D didn't smile or make us feel welcome. The confectionary selection could have been better, the quality was not good. Pastry chef is weak.
