Boutique & Design Hotel Navis

Very nice beach hotel - recommendable for some quiet and relaxing days with direct access to the sea. The breakfast selection was very nice (table service) and there is a SUP and kayak to rent for a small fee. We also appreciated the shuttle bus to Opatija town - the stroll back to the hotel via the promenade is a must see. Nice restaurant selection in Volosko - 10 mins walk from the hotel. We liked restaurant Veranda. The staff is very polite and helpful.

We visited the hotel for the second time, this time in the high season, when crowds can be expected in Croatia - which you can easily avoid with a well-kept and remote hotel beach like the one offered by Navis. 💙 The hotels design is perfect, all rooms have a sea view. Every morning, in addition to the breakfast buffet, there is also an exceptional a la carte menu available - for all those like us, who like to enjoy a good breakfast with a large selection of goddies and a stunning sea view. Kudos also to the extremely helpful staff (Hrvoje, Ivan, Robert...). 🙌😃 All in all it is a beautiful hotel that offers everything you need for an ideal summer vacation - just book it😎😌

We missed the bike room, but otherwise you can safely store them in the hotel garage.

Exceptional as always. A gem of the local coast. Friendly and helpful staff, beatiful view from the room, lovely breakfast and a tasty but not uptight fine dining restaurant, offering lovely cocktails and a wide selection of local wines and delicacies. The hotel is constantly developing new infrastructure for guests and has been taking care to maintain the facilities in good condition.

The only thing that bothered me was probably water pressure, not too strong for long hair, but it could be helped with multi mode or high pressure shower heads I guess. Also, as a non-smoker, I would prefer the terrace part of the restaurant to be a non-smoking area.

The service of the hotel was outstanding. The staff is so polite, friendly, helpful and caring. It was my best experience ever. After this stay we went to Kempinski hotel in Portoroz and the service didn’t meet even 10% of the quality of Navis. Well done to the management of the hotel as you must treat the staff like a family as they work/behave like one. It was amazing experience and thank you for making our stay special. Not to forget to mention, breakfast was delicious!

We didn’t like the design of the room. To dark, to “modern”. But it is our preference as we like the standard of clean cozy’s feeling. The balcony and the view and rest of the hotel/restaurant is great.

First time holidays with 8 months old baby. Staff was friendly and supportive, preparing daily solid meal for our little one which was excellent help! Quiet spa area. Food / wine selection exceptional. Again, many thanks to your staff, especially the girls at the reception. Best regards

Please do something with the reservations of the lounge chairs, current arrangements require early wake up (7 in the morning) in order to throw a towel on the chosen chairs, otherwise it is gone. Not something you want to do during your well deserved holidays. (Also, for example: Family of 3 are taking 3 big beds for individual use).

This hotel is absolutely amazing. Secluded in the cove it offers a stunning view from the room (and from the bed) and peaceful stay. We were here in the off season but we still manage to soak up sun in the balcony of our room. The staff is extremely professional and friendly and everything is super clean.

The only thing that could be more convenient is if there was a way to walk to and from the hotel by the sea so you don't have to go everywhere with a car.

This is a lovely place with great attention to detail. All the rooms are sea-facing which is a great touch and a reason my husband and I return. The welcome drink is great and the staff are outstanding.

So, the restaurant. To be clear, the food and wine selection is outstanding and well executed. The staff are top notch. However, the price - yikes! Basically at dinner, the server recommends options without a menu. This is a precaution against spreading Covid, but as a result, the price points of menu items are not made super accessible. It's a bit cheeky, because a sign with the menu, or a QR code on the table (as was done at breakfast) could help guests make choices that are within their desired budget. Make no mistake, the waiter's suggestions were spot-on and the meal was outstanding. But because of the bill we racked up on the first night, we definitely had to eat McDonald's on the second night of our stay.

Stunning design & architecture. Beautiful view from our large balcony in our superior room. Huge comfortable bed & powerful shower. Exceptional standard of food at the restaurant ( breakfast, lunch & dinner.) Wonderful, wonderful staff.

The steam room wasn’t working very well for a couple of days. Down the side of the daybed in the solarium was very cobwebby & needed a hoover. Top of headboard needed a hoover. A kettle in the room might have been nice. (But these are all just nit-picky things to make it more perfect)

Opatija is as glamorous as it is gorgeous, so it’s no surprise that hotel Navis is an exceptionally designed sanctuary of luxury. The hotel affords guests true privacy and relaxation. Panoramic views of the sea can be seen from every room and heated outdoor swimming pool. Don't hasitate to try their reastaurant - the ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Delicious wines, food and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. And you should, by all means, relax with a soothing massage - really enjoyable experience, cannot recommend enough.
