Novotel Angers Centre Gare

Clean, quite spacious room, like the Rituals toiletries(though the dispensers didn't work very well). good shower! Central and right next to the train station. Overall really happy with the hotel aside from being charged 8 euros for water.

We got charged 8 euros for water. They should really replenish the water everyday. When we asked for some water from reception, she gave us 2 bottles without telling us they'll charge us 8 euros.

Big beautiful room with nice design. Great facilities and public area (we used the fitness room). Close to rail station in a nice area. Parking near that we received a discount from the hotel - there is option to leave the car in front of the entrance fir short time.

The only thing is that the breakfast is not included in the room price (which is a bit high) and the price is expensive (17e per person). The second day we decided to have it a cafe near by instead.

Pleasantly surprised at how family friendly this hotel was. We were travelling with two small kids and had booked because of the great location and great reviews we didn't expect them to actully have such a lovely welcome for the kids with colouring books and toys at the foyer. Staff were exceptional especially Thelma whom we mainly dealt with, she couldn't do enough for us.

The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel is spotlessly clean throughout and the breakfast was excellent. The hotel is excellent value for money and there is a choice of car parks either side of the hotel.

I can find nothing to criticise.

One of the best trained groups of professionals in the business. Stayed here multiple times and all the front desk personnel are excellent. It shows that they were well trained -- service first and always take care of the customer to maximum extent possible. It is not often that I find this level of professionalism in European hotels. Bravo!

The room was facing the train station and somtimes it was a little noisy. The hotel suggested me to replace the room but it was o.k. for me. I did not change and it was still good!!!

the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. we told them it was our honeymoon and they prepared a nice welcome in the room. they also helped us getting out of the parking as there were some issues with the ticket. overall amazing experience with them. the room was also very spacious and nicely clean. the breakfast was also very good and full of options.

The location is good and the building is quite new (or at least recently renovated). The room was also extremely clean, which is a huge plus.

We were « upgraded » to a room right next to a family with small children. The children screamed and cried all night long (woke us up at 3am and kept us from falling asleep at 11pm). We could hear them through the walls and regretted accepting the upgrade.

surprisingly super for a city centre hotel right next to the central station. all was excellent, staff very friendly.

The breakfast was fabulous with lots of different types of food - hot and cold. The shower had a choice of types both brilliant. The bed was comfortable but not huge. The room had lots of USB plug ins - very useful. The staff were friendly and helpful and spoke good English.

Parking was random and needed some imagination.
