ibis Budget Clermont Ferrand Centre Montferrand

We were upgraded free of charge to the Ibis hotel next door as the Ibis budget was full. The room was very clean with a good bathroom and a large, very comfortable bed. The restaurant attached to the hotel was good value, just what we needed after a long journey. Lots of parking. Easy location just a few minutes from the motorway. Very helpful staff.

The only complaint was that the air conditioning didn't work and as the hotel's situated on a busy junction it was too noisy to have the window open.

Hotel and room very clean The room was spacious (I emailed beforehand explaining one of my dogs had arthritis and struggled with steps). They placed us on a ground floor, which was great.

Location was a little remote for good choices of food places. Because the floors are laminated, my dog was like Bambi on ice, trying to walk in the hotel and in the room.

If you are gonna stop just for one night is ok. We are traveling with 3 small kids and we felt ok. The upper bed is safe enough for small kids as you have the biggest one down. The rooms are small but comfortable and it was super easy to find parking. We could eat our breakfast in the lobby and everything was super. It is hot enough, but was a good temperature

We hadn’t make check out, but we had our luggage’s with us. when we finish our breakfast we went up to rest a bit and they had already cleaned the room and made our check out… it was 10:30… we still had 1 hr… We explain this to the boy in reception and suddenly he forgot his English… well, well, well…

The room was exactly as I would expect when booking a budget room. It was small and compact with very few extras. For example no hairdryer, tea making facilities or complimentary bottles of water. However this was a budget room and you get what you pay for. The food in the restaurant next door was good and all staff we met were friendly, polite and helpful.

I can’t really make any negative comments as it suited our needs perfectly.

Well located for the centre and quite close to the motorway. The room was spacious and comfortable and there was minimal noise from the main road close by.

The car park in front of and behind the hotel was quite tight, particularly for larger cars, and shared with the Ibis hotel and a restaurant.

This hotel had a wheelchair parking space outside and level access. The staff were really nice and friendly. the room was comfortable and clean and the bed was comfortable.

Just that the accessible bathroom had only one angled bar beside the toilet. a lot of hotels don’t seem to be aware of the European standard. A person without the use of their legs needs two parallel bars to do a parallel lift.

They received me late, around 11pm with a big smile! They tried their best in communicating with me as I don't speak French. Room was clean & with all the basics.

The girl at the reception made our stay warm and homy. She helped with the translation at the restaurant and was very attentive to us. Don't know your name but thank you very much if you read this 😃

Friendly Staff- english speaking Location easy to find near supermarkets/ mall

Bathroom needs some better shower head, shower gel was empty but usually I bring own.

Clean room and spacious bathroom, restaurants downstairs, animals accepted, bed for a baby in the room on demand- good value for money

Like always with ibis budget rooms can be claustrophobic, but the price goes with
