Greet Hotel Evreux Centre by Accor

Wonderful staff - very friendly, welcoming and happy to speak in English (as our French is very limited). Comfy beds, large TV, great size room and central location. The onsite secure parking (5 euro per night) was appreciated as well. We enjoyed the bar and foyer with welcoming decor and comfy chairs too. Very close to city centre with a variety of options to eat and drink. Stunning Cathedral and museum / gallery with free admission to both. Well worth the visit. Thank you.

No air con which is understandable given the price. Our room was on the first floor which looked out onto ducting and an outside flat roof. As such, we were not sure if it was secure to keep the window open overnight and used the outside metal shutter. This meant a warm night. Next time, will avoid the problem and ask for a room above the first floor or visit outside of summer. Would definitely stay again given the positives overall.

This hotel has recently had a makeover, transitioning from an Ibis Budget to a 'Greet' hotel. Eccentric velo-themed decor and upcycled furniture make it a change from the average budget chain; there is even a fussball table in the lounge. Breakfast choices are excellent with fresh juices, patisserie and organic products all available.The hotel now has a bar which also serves evening meals. Local produce can also be bought in the reception area. Car parking is inside a gated car park next door. The pleasant town centre with its brasseries cafes restaurants and bars is two minutes walk away.

No negatives I can think of.

The staff are very friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is pleasant and friendly. The cycling theme is fun and this time there were cyclists staying there during a charity event. Breakfast is nice. The concept of the hotel is simple but that's fine.. we have chosen this hotel for short practical stays on a number of occasions.

The room and bedding were rather hot for the season, but fortunately we could open the window.

-Good location. Close to the city town hall 500m. -good breakfast, didnt need to sit on a dirty table, was specially cleaned for you. - very comfy beds(daily cleaned) - casual clean rooms (some dust on radiators, and other unused daily objects. Personally didnt bothered me.) - standard bathroom with daily fresh towels. - would definitely go back, kids friendly hotel

No A/C in the bedroom.

Basic room and even more so breakfast(I didn't think the breakfast was up to scratch at all and given the choice again, wouldnt have it). Overall, the room and place was clean and tidy and served it's purpose of being a good night's sleep and hot shower half way into our kayak fishing adventure. Polite enough staff and better English than I speak french so that always helps. Also, it had cheap secure parking.

No thrills or spills here.....

My daughter and I stayed here 4 years ago. Then it was a very basic budget Ibis. It has been transformed into a chic cycling themed hotel. Facilities far exceed what you would expect in a budgethotel, with good public areas, fantastic breakfast much better than I had been receiving for a third ofthe price. Great location, secure parking and MOST importantly friendly, helpful smiling staff who coped with my lack of French with a smile.

We enjoyed our stay at Greet Hotel. It is a comfortable, funky, young hotel in our opinion. Thank you to all the staff who were very friendly & helpful. Cannot fault the place & great value for money. We stopped over for 1 night enroute home. Good comfortable room and breakfast. Evreux is charming. We had a nice Thai meal in the town during the evening.

Nothing negative.

Central location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very quirky, areas downstairs set out for children as well as olde worlde sitting room with a table football game. Breakfast was very good with a wide range of food.

Evening menu in the bar was very limited - reheated frozen pizza or quiche lorraine. No real apologies. Shame really as the menu , if if had been available, looked really good.

The hotel facilities are very good as is the close proximity to the town and secure parking a bonus!

Only downside was the lack of air conditioning as the temperature outside was 34 degrees plus which obviously impacted on the temperature indoors. It made for a very sticky sleep, but it didn’t spoil our visit.

Stayed here twice on our holiday heading from tunnel to Dordogne and on the return trip. Basic but clean and comfortable and a good choice for the breakfast.

Got stuck behind an Italian party trying to book 12 guests into 2 rooms. Took ages to sort out, but staff kept their cool and handled it all well.
