Domaine Maison Dodo

Domaine maison dodo is really the perfect place for vacations. Everything in it is perfect, starting with Gaspare, our host who made sure we had everything we needed and beyond. The estate itself is so calm and so beautiful that you just want to spend the rest of your life there, the moment you get in. The room is super clean and very well decorated. And the pool is amazing. Eating there is another level. Breakfast is so good, and dinner is just mind-blowing, from starters to wind to main course to dessert. The best experience and we definitely are going back!

The dinner was a “surprise” and was truly excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Our own Italian chef! The wine was very reasonably priced and good quality. The bedrooms were beautifully appointed with original features. Our host was super friendly. Would highly recommend and would visit again.

Nothing to dislike or complain about.

The rooms were large and very comfortable. Our dinners were just fantastic, exceeded our expectations and our beds/bedding were particularly comfortable. Attention to quality and locally sourced food by owner also matters to us and makes us happy. A gem of a place. Go without hesitation and order his dinners!

Maison Dodo is an idyllic country house situated near many wonderful vineyards. The rooms are peaceful and comfortable, the pool is a welcome retreat on a hot day and Gaspare is such a thoughtful host. I cannot say enough about the fine restaurant quality dinners cooked by Gaspare using local produce.

Beautiful location with the best host. Meals were exceptional. Gaspal is a great chef. Wine was top notch and all of the shared spaces, including the pool were wonderful. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again.

Our bed/pillows were just a bit uncomfortable.

the whole experience there was amazing. Gaspare made us feel like at home, with his kindness and always smiley face. also his cooking was out of this world the room was big and comfy and just what you need for your stay. having access to the common area downstairs, the garden and the pool complete the “feel at home” experience

the house was spacious, clean and beautifully located in countryside but close to Bergerac. the host, Gaspare, was superb; very friendly, attentive and thoughtful. Meal cooked by Gaspare was definitely our highlight, just wonderful.

Beautiful house, good continental breakfast with local produce and fruit from the garden. The owner gave us a warm welcome and introduction to the facilities even though we were late (though we did telephone to explain before arriving).Sorry we could only stay one night and couldn’t try the evening meal.
