Le Pontet

Jonathan was a lovely host. Friendly and very welcoming. (It was a pleasure to also meet his mother). The accommodation was clean, quiet and extremely comfortable. Water and refreshments, etc were made available in the room. The property itself is beautiful. The offer of the use of the dining room to prepare and eat our evening meal was gladly received, as was the secure location offered to store our bicycles in during our stay. Breakfast was ample and set us up for a further day of cycling of our tour. I would definitely recommend a stay at Le Pontent.

Everything was absolutely perfect. Jonathan, the host, made us very welcome. The hotel, has been sympathetically restored, and is situated in a very large garden. In the dining room, each of the guest rooms is allocated their own crockery and cutlery, in case they want to cook something for themselves. We walked to Miramont-de-Guyenne for dinner. Jonathan had given us several suggestions of places to eat and rather than drive even further we took the opportunity to have a very pleasant walk away form the main road. We saw several lizard orchids and had dinner in Miramont-de-Guyenne. The internet was good

Water Pressure in the shower was a bit low. Other than that all was perfect.

Jonathan was a great host, friendly and open to my many questions during the area. The room was nice and warm even in midwinter, comfy and well presented. It was a great room for one or two people staying a short while in the area and I'd use it again if Im coming back to the area.

As its near a D road, which is excellent for quick communication to the different towns, there is a low audible traffic noise, but it didnt disturb me during my stay.

Clean, quiet, very comfortable. Jonathon the owner could not have been more helpful. His recommendation for an evening meal was also a great choice. Excellent continental breakfast. Tea tray in the room even had my fav Early Grey tea. Very good value ! Would most definitely recommend and would gladly stay again if in that area. Thank you Jonathon.

Lovely room, we appreciated the kettle/tea facility. We had use of a fridge and the dining room. Breakfast was good with lots of variety. The host was exceptionally helpful and kind. Would highly recommend

A great stay and a wonderful host. We booked at the very last minute but were warmly welcomed. The room had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean.

I can’t think of anything which needs to be improved.

Good accommodation and a good host. Very comfortable bed and a nice touch was to be able to microwave some food later in the day. Continental breakfast was adequate although being English it would have been nice to have a toaster to do myself some toast.

I like to sleep with the window open at night so as there were no mosquito nets at the window I had to keep them shut.

Internet was slow, but wifi signal was strong I hear every step from upper flor

Great find. Host was very friendly. The room was clean and tidy and nothing too much trouble. Tea and coffee making facilities, use of a fridge. Parking right in front. Breakfast was a great choice.
