Birgit Hôtel Le Havre Centre

Very nice location with own parking. Good to get out of the city for visiting nearby site seeings but also half an hour walk to the city center. Clean basic room enough for couple of nights. Nice bistro at the ground floor and McDonalds for a quick bite just next door if you are in a hurry.

Room doors didn’t close properly unless you push hard. Every time after the room cleaning we come back and just pushed the door opens without key. Maybe it’s just our two rooms.

worst pillow ever in room 1233 no kettle in triple room no hair dryer in triple room the staffs are wonderful but it’s kinda off that during our check in, when we spoke with our native language the lady is kinda laughed and it happened twice and I find it offensive though not a big deal cause she seems nice. there’s no point of doing online check in. It’s just a waste of time.

Great location if your staying in Le Havre Room had more then enough space and a good bathroom Nice lounge area at the entrance and restaurant the door next to the entrance. Breakfast has a lot of options and you can fill up very easy if you want too.

Bed could have been a little higher to get up easier, but im quite tall (194cm) so that can also be a personal thing.

The location was great, the service was incredibly friendly and very forgiving of my poor French. They took the time to let the kids learn new words on the menu and the food was good. Breakfast was especially good.

The restaurant was quite expensive for what it was. Although the food was good, and the portions were quite large, we paid over £50 for quite a simple dinner.

The hotel is just 5 mins walk from the train station. It is not in the city center but it's not that far from it. Location-wise, I think it's quite good. The hotel has quite nice value per price. Clean, warm water, compact but quite comfortable.

The shower without door so water spills a bit into the bathroom floor. Not many hooks for towels. A bit noisy by the road outside.

The design of the hotel was brill. The bedrooms were very spacious, clean had everything we needed. The restaurant was very good, great service and food. The staff were 1st class, very friendly and professional. The manageress Maud made our stay even more enjoyable, so friendly and nothing was too much for her. I would highly recommend this hotel to all.

The hotel is near the SNCF gare and the DOC commercial center, very convenient for us. The personnels are very friendly. The reception area is very well designed.

The shower tube is not working well. The space surround the bathroom is small.

Hotel had renovation when we were there. During the weekend they didn’t work so it was fine but Monday was awful. Very, very loud. We had only one magnetic card to our room.

Genuine welcome from helpful staff. Provided a garage to store our bikes. Nice communal area to eat our break and cheese and wine dinner. Very close to cycle route and facilities around the station
