Campanile Le Mans Centre Est

This hotel was located next door to Burger King, ideal to grab a bite to eat although the hotel did have it's own restaurant. There was plenty of parking available, including a specific area for vans and lorries. It was tricky to locate but that could have been due to us taking a couple of wrong turns! Would rebook when travelling to Spain again.

Our room was back facing but we were not there for the views so in the end this was not an issue.

Arrived after a long drive. The receptionist was very attentive and friendly. The room was nice and warm (-3 outside) and the bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows. I booked at the restaurant and was pleased to see a very varied menu. I had an excellent meal and the service was the same. I will definitely consider this place next time I'm in the area. There are many hotels that could learn from this place about customer service and staff friendliness.

The family room was larger than expected. Ample bathroom space and superb comfort. The comfort tray was well stocked and the location was great.

The staff at check in were not very receptive. We had completed a very long journey and would have appreciated an earlier check in but we felt obliged to purchase drinks until our room was available to check in. The staff member was rather nonchalant and appeared to be in a bad mood.

A warm welcome at Reception for check-in (the lady spoke English). My sister asked for a change of room location so she could avoid the stairs which was kindly accommodated. The dogs stayed in my sister’s room and there are some grass areas for comfort breaks for them. A good breakfast selection in the morning in a nice dining/bar area by reception.

I have earplugs but there was some traffic noise at night.

room was quiet, clean and well-equipped Breakfast was an "extra", which was very reasonably priced. Due to a misunderstanding I was over-charged for 1 breakfast, which I did not realise until the hotel management refunded the over-payment...

For our purpose it was ideal, not to close to city centre and close enough to motorway so as to be able to continue journey without any fuss.

As it was raining when we arrived the staff offered us the use of the garage for our motorcycles. Rooms were on the ground floor and side by side. Breakfast was buffet and plentiful.

No air con. It was well over 30c when we arrived, lack of air con made sleeping difficult.

The room was quiet and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. The location was chosen to split our homeward journey and was ideal for this. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty and we were able to continue our journey well rested.

Nothing we didn't like.

The staff were exceptional. Made us feel welcome and made our stay that much more enjoyable.

We thought we had booked a double bed room but turned out it was two single beds. Probably my fault on booking but they we ready to fix this if we wished.

We arrived on a Sunday and the restaurant is shut on Sundays which we didn’t know. After a long journey we then had to go and find somewhere else to eat
