ibis Le Mans Centre Gare Nord

We have a family room which was huge! really great room, hotel itself and as the best we stayed in throughout our road trip around France. Staff were lovely and friendly. we reserved a parking spot which was tricky to find, you almost have to block the road slightly and run into reception for them to open the shutters. we managed to get the first spot and we're able to turn around but the car park only holds about 5 cars and I think it'd be difficult to exit or turn around if it's full but we were lucky. unfortunately I took ill that day so was not able to venture out to Le Mans other than the big sign outside the train station opposite hotel

I LOVE this hotel! I was put into a terrible situation by AirBnb and had to get an emergency hotel late in the evening. I couldn't get a taxi (I don't speak French) so I phoned the staff and they organised a taxi for me. The decor of the hotel was gorgeous and even had a vintage Fiat 500 in the lobby. I got a beautiful room with air-con (this was during the heatwave) and had a delicious dinner from the bar. Lovely shower and bed. Breakfast the next morning was outstanding. I got a late checkout and the staff very kindly allowed me to stay in the dining room rather than go outside in the 40 degree heat. AirBnb staff were TERRIBLE and did not sort out my new accommodation in time so I had to stay another night in a hotel. Unfortunately Ibis Centre was fully booked out by this time but the staff made a reservation and organised a taxi to another Ibis hotel. I will never forget how while I was being treated like garbage by AirBnb I was looked after and received absolutely outstanding customer service by the fabulous staff here. I want to especially thank Barbara, Lou and Dylan for helping me in such a stressful situation and making my stay so incredible. You really went above and beyond and I'll never forget it - thank you!

Checking in for my group was handled with great efficiency and charm by a delightful American lady whose name I forget. The rooms were just as expected and the parking for the motorcycles better than expected. The breakfast was also as expected. The staff at the bar in the evenings serving drinks were quick and helpful.

The breakfast food was basic and the breakfast room a bit crowded but these things didn't really matter.

Limited on-site parking (approx 4 cars and 4 motorcycles), is available if you book early via a large, staff operated folding street door. The free lunch bags allowing us to make sandwiches/rolls with fillings, croissants and fruit. Much appreciated.7

Slightly disappointing 'continental' breakfast, but it was enough.

Cleaner was too quiet when knocking and seem to just walk in. Spoke to reception and they sorted that very quickly.

The property aligns with the racing culture of the city. it’s conveniently across the street from the train station, and the tram station is also there, so it’s extremely convenient to get around. The room was spacious and very clean. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of choices, too.

The staff was extremely helpful is soughting out my parking issue.

Had reserved a parking space for the van, but when i got to the hotel, they had no records to show. Guessing that the information was not passed on or logged in the system. I was a bit annoyed at this.

The place was clean beautiful and close to nearby town

Easy to find and access (be aware thought that, if you want to use their garage there are only a couple of spaces). Staff were friendly and helpful and had an arrangement with a local restaurant for a reasonable take away meal. Breakfast was good and you collected it (pre-ordered) from a central desk. The room was good and spotless, Bed comfortable and quiet.

Nothing all was fine.

Breakfast was excellent and good value. Location fine but had a bit of a walk to restaurants.

The pillows were too thin however the bed was very comfortable.
