Kyriad Metz Centre - Restaurant Moze

The hotel is well located in the centre of Metz. It is part of the Kyriad chain so it's a typical mid range hotel. There is a nice bar area which doubles up as a reception. We had 2 double rooms which were clean and functional. The buffet style breakfast had a reasonable choice of croissants, fruit, bread, cheese, meat etc. and was regularly replenished. It was busy and finding a table a bit tricky. On the whole the staff were friendly. We prebooked the hotel car park which is well located and secure under the hotel.

Although we had pre-booked the car park the guy on check-in initially said there was no space. I had to push the point and after showing him the confirmation the hotel had sent was suddenly able to find a space (there were plenty of spaces when we parked). I didn't appreciate the unhelpful attitude. In fairness we were able to leave the car in car park the next day to explore Metz. The rooms and beds are small.

We chose this hotel for the location in the centre of town and because it had parking which we could book. You could walk easily to anywhere in the city centre. After reading the comments about the underground car park we decided not to use it as our car is longer than the average car and there is an over ground car park just around the corner from the hotel which was a bonus. Parking was about 20 Euros for 24 hours. The breakfast was good and the room was clean. We had a triple room as it was all that we could book, so this meant it might have been larger than other rooms (the extra bed was a sofa bed). We liked the fact you could help yourself to tea, coffee and milk to make a drink in your room. This feels like a standard 3 star hotel and was a good price for the location in the city centre.

If I had to pick something I would comment that the bathroom was really small but this is just so people aren't disappointed. There was nothing wrong with it and it did have a window that opened which is rare in city hotels.

Location, location, location... the hotel is nearby the city centre and even so a quiet area. We were afraid that being so close to the centre, it will be noisy, but we were pleasantly surprised it was not the case. All touristic attraction are closed by. We did not have breakfast, but when leaving in the morning we were able to see what was served, and the food looked amazing. They also had soy milk based drinks and gluten free bread upon request. Close by the lift there is a water fountain which you can use to refill your bottle free of charge. There is a parking space available upon request. It is perfect for both long and short stays.

The room was small, but stylish and very clean. The airconditioning was simple to adjust, silent and worked very well. The hotel lies just at the edge of Metz' city center, perfect! We were able to make reservations for the underground parking, which was a very nice plus and affordable.

There was an electric kettle in the room, but no mugs or cups. A small fridge would have been nice (when we were there, tempertatures were above 30 degrees celcius during the day). The shower in our room was tucked away in a very small corner which made showering a bit awkward, but not too much.

Perfectly located, close to the main station and the city centre - most locations to visits within walking reach. Parking available in the streets around, or the hotel one if free, or public secured ones (same price of the hotel, due to agreement they have). Good breakfast and room facilities. Water provided for free.

nothing major, a slight more accuracy in cleaning the bathroom would be perfect.

Very nice location just right next to the historic centre

I heard from earlier morning 6.30am a lot of noises from the shower area and bedrooms above me. Probably some customers, visitors in this hotel waking up very early when I expect. Anyway I woke up at 8am because I was going to stay in bed longer than usual because this is my holiday time.

The rooms are pretty small, but very intelligently furnished. Small but sufficient parking garage very close to the hotel. Very kind and helpful reception guy who told us a bit about the history of Metz. Nice, small, but very good breakfast. Metz is a gorgeous town and you can easily walk for example to the Cathedral from the hotel.

Nothing to complain.

A nice modern hotel located in the centre of Metz. Good facilities and a nice breakfast and I would stay here again if returning to the town. We reserved a parking space in the underground car park which is worth doing if arriving by car. The parking charge is reasonable and at least you know that your car is safe.

the room was very small (enough, but on the small side), they only have one elevator, which - during morning hours - is completely overloaded as both the staff (to clean the rooms) as well as the guests (to get to and from breakfast) use it. You have to wait a couple of minutes to get down if you can't take the stairs

Very comfortable mattress and pillow! Resonably clean, nothing to complain about. Friendly staff. The public parking is close to the hotel but VERY TIGHT. I wouldn't recommend using it if you have something wider than a regular hatchback or if you lack parking skills.

As other guests have pointed out, the bathroom is a tad too small and the shower space (not exactly a cabin) has a weird shape, but it's manageable. Breakfast wasn't the best in terms of variety or taste, but it was satisfying. There's room for improvement.
