Novotel Suites Montpellier Antigone

Brilliant breakfast, including bacon and scrambled eggs. Plenty of choice to eat. Swimming pool was good and we had a suite so it was useful for cooking with the microwave. Hotel is near two tram stops and a small supermarket with some organic food. Staff were helpful and lent us a bottle opener.

Far too hot at night and adjusting the air conditioning made no difference to our bedroom. It was hard to get a good night’s sleep. We stayed in two other places this week and the air conditioning was much cooler.

We had a prestige/premier suite and it was very modern, clean and extremely spacious. The bed was very comfortable and high quality bed linen. The tv was on a movable trolley and was great for wheeling into the perfect position for watching from bed. The bathroom was lovely with both a bath and a shower and double vanity. We loved the ‘rituals’ toiletries. It was an easy walk into the city centre of 12 minutes or the tram stop was a 5 minute walk away. We loved the location. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and I’d highly recommend this accommodation if you’re looking to stay in Montpelier.

The air conditioning could be improved and the fridge was not working in our room. As we were there for only 1 night it was not too much of an issue.

Was too hot, without possibility to regulate the temperature. Breakfast a bit poor.

The AC in the suite and throughout the hotel was really inadequate, and made things quite uncomfortable. Can’t imagine what it will be like in the middle of summer! As others have mentioned, what’s the point of having a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and kettle, but no cups, plates/bowls, or cutlery?! Quite odd! Also, only one, slow elevator was working during our 4-day stay.

Fairly well located. Sober but cosy suites. The rooms are spacious. There's a swimming pool.

The AC is a little weak for people like us who are used to the AC almost all year round.

under windows is located bassen and caffe... it's impossible to have good sleep at night and in the morning. in the bathroom, we don't have enough washing gel and shampoo. it's critically inconvenient for tourists.

Cleanliness, breakfast and quiet comfortable rooms. Pool a bonus.

Although we booked for 3 people sharing a room only 2 cups were provided on arrival. Each day after this only 2 towels and 2 cups were provided and each day we had to ask for towels and cups. Staff were helpful but unfriendly.

Great location. Lovely swimming pool, very pleasant in summer! Super breakfast, comfy bed and friendly staff! Free 15 minutes massage on Thursday night. Fab!

Only decaf coffee in bedroom… if I want to be picky!

Great location, friendly staff, lovely pool, delicious breakfast.

The carpet in the bedroom could do with a good clean. There was a lot of dust on a panel above the bed. Air con was loud and ancient.

Bed were comfortable

Booked for 2 adults, teenager and 4 year old. Only got 2 big towels for adults and the other hand towels were too small for the teenagers or 4 year old, fortunately we brought a couple of our own. The safe didn’t work and was a hazard as the door stayed open and never closed so had to be really cautious with the 4 year old. No instructions on how to use shower or safe so would need to call reception for aid.
