Hotel Cerise Nancy

This place is typically what you expect for a cheap hotel for an overnight stay on the route du soleil (which I think most guet used it for). Friendly staff, 24h desk, but small and low-budget rooms (but thats what you pay for after all). However, there are two notable things I'd like to mention: 1) My girlfriend brought her own pillow, which she left in the room. We did not expect to get it back, but messaged the hotel through booking anyway. To our surprise, they responded extremely rapidly and were very helpful in suggesting a postal service, we paid for a shipping label and they sent back the pillow the same day. I was positively surprise by the service level of this low budget hotel 2) They have ample parking space, which is behind a guarded gate. Perfect if you want to leave your luggage in the car

Location is nothing special

Nice location, easy access and free parking. The hotel looked really pretty on the inside. Rooms were just what’s needed for a night: a bed and a bathroom. The bathroom was a bit funny to us (felt like a Dixi), but great memory to keep :).

The room smelled like smoke, that was really disgusting, but we were too polite and tired to mention it. They probably could have helped us if we did do that and it’s obviously not the staffs fault

Excellent price and very clean.

No secure motorbike parking and was quite a way out of the town. Too far to walk so had to get a cab. That said if you want a bargain overnight stop off, then it ticks the box

The hotel was very clean, staff were friendly and the breakfast was very good value. Just what we needed for a one night stopover It was a 45 minute walk (downhill) to the centre of town, we got the bus back and it stopped right outside the hotel. Would recommend doing this.

Very easy to book and very reasonable price. Room did the job for the night and everything was clean and comfortable

Room was quite small for two people and the hotel could do with an elevator. We had very heavy bags and carrying them up 2 flights of stairs was not ideal

It was a short-notice booking, as we had to stop quickly due to the COVID regulations in France. The staff was extremely helpful from the very beginning. I had booked a double room, due to lack of Twin room facilities at that time on booking.com. When the hotel staff saw that I was actually travelling with my mum, they took it upon themselves to immediately change us to a Twin room, which made our stay much more enjoyable. The room itself was clean and lovingly made up. Ample parking and close to town as well as the motorway, without any noise pollution. I would definitely recommend a stay.

Close to the highway, 24h reception. Perfect for a night on a road trip. Clean, bright, relatively new furnished rooms and good, comfy, relaxing bed. All you need + small breakfast optional. And staff speaks english (!!!)

Always clean and tidy and staff helpfull

The outside is untidy with a garage now opened up and parking a bit limited, woried about bike security but all was good. my room smelt of smoke and had to air the room.

Very convenient for an overnight stop while on a long journey with two children. 24-hour reception was essential to us and staff were very friendly. Just off the highway, so easy to get to by car. Price was good. Simple, but served our needs perfectly.

Everything was fine. Perfect for one night.

the staff is very helpful and friendly. they have a kitchen you can use and they offer to help as much as they can. pretty good value of money for a one star hotel
