Brit Hotel Reims La Neuvillette

The hotel location was easy to get to off motorway. Staff were helpful. Room was good (but see below comments). Breakfast was very good. Adequate choice of eating facilities in immediate area.

Given the very warm weather at this time (and no air con unit or fan in the room) we needed to sleep with the window wide open overnight. However, the vehicle tyre replacement facility/unit outside the bedroom window omitted very loud 'air release-type' noise at 15 minute intervals from the moment we arrived and throughout the night. This loud noise would periodically both startle and wake us at regular times during the night.

The staff were fantastic on our late arrival and instructed us to leave our bikes in view of the CCTV even though it was secure parking. The food was still available at 2100, and the bar stayed open until 2230. The rooms were adequate for what we needed to get some rest before another long day of riding. The breakfast was also excellent and definitely worth the extra €10. Great overnight stay if travelling north or south through France.

The decor in rooms and corridors need updating, and the pricing of the evening food needs to be re-assesed as we felt it was expensive for a relatively small portion. We had 2 beers each before they ran out, and the only substitute was a weird fruity beer, but that may have just been because of the time of week. The location isn't great, but because there's a restaurant and bar on site that makes up for it.

This was a great place & a very conveniently location, particularly if you are driving through France as I was. The breakfast is also very good and plentiful. The staff are also super-friendly and a pleasure to talk to!

When I stayed there previously, I did get lost trying to find the place. Therefore, either make sure you have satnav in some form or other and it is switched on (I had not done this!) or make sure you arrive nice and early so there is plenty of daylight to see your way around! The location takes a while getting used to as it is an industrial estate but, if you know the direction you are going in, there are plenty of shops and places to eat just a small walk away from the hotel!

The convenience of the location. Driving from Northern Italy and wanting a really efficient stopover before the last leg to the ferry. A bit off piste but very close to La Neuvillette peage station and with almost instant access to local shops. Clean, comfortable and good value with great staff who are obviously tuned into the Brit clientele passing to and fro. The above average understanding of English (apparent in all interactions with Brithotel staff) was really helpful at the end of a long day and afterwards. The patience and sheer good humour in returning to me an item I left in the hotel was outstanding.

Breakfast is expensive but - you're in France, how far away can a boulangerie be? The 24 hour desk is just a phone number after 21.30 ... but it was answered by Aurore very promptly and a problem dealt with. I'd advised of a late arrrival in the booking and didn't get any further notifications or information through the Booking.com app which is how I was expecting it to appear. There were emails however - I just didn't see them. Possibly my own fault or misunderstanding so this is just entered in case it is something that can be improved rather than a complaint or dissatisfaction.

The helpfulness of all the staff. However is in charge of staff training is doing a fantastic job. I would like to give a special mention to Caroline. On our first stay in December she was our waitress. She was fantastic. On our second stay she was on our floor housekeeping with a colleague. She gave us a very warm greeting. This versatility is very commendable.

This just a suggestion. As there is no lift it would be good to advertise that there are two rooms on the ground floor. Also in the directions it would be good to explain that we were in the block with the Bistro.

Handy location - and incredibly convenient - with secure parking. Staff were friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was great - although make provision better for vegetarians and vegans (have some oat milk on hand). Quiet and clean, and even managed to visit Reims in the morning using the number 3 bus - what a beautiful city. Would recommend a trip in to see the cathedral, and have a walk around.

The booking dot com order of 1 double and 1 twin was not received. Instead we were offered 2 doubles which was less convenient. However the hotel was ideal for stopping off.

Breakfast was very Nice. Good choice.

The heater should have an off switch. Staff member on our last day left to manage everything alone with too many people die breakfast and queing for reception. Hotel should ensure enough staff but the lady managing it die everything with a smile and courtesy which not many people would manage in the same circumstances so my compliments for that!

We have used this hotel several times on our way home from skiing trips. To the west of Reims it's less than three hours from Calais and the Tunnel. Everything works, comfortable beds, a nice bistro for a simple meal on arrival and secure locked parking which is reassuring when travelling with a car load of kit.

The hotel is in a fairly industrialised part of town so don't expect a scenic walk after dinner.

Staff were so efficient and very friendly - always had smiles on their faces regardless of awkward guests - the bed and pillows were best I have ever slept on - lovely soft white towels - parking was free and plenty of space - breakfast selection was excellent - I am a 70 year old woman alone driving from UK down to Spain and back again through France so I can say Brit Hotel even though the cheapest is far better than many more expensive hotels I've stayed in over last 5 weeks

Clean, very well priced, comfy, quiet and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The hotel is on the outskirts of town but still close enough to everything, probably would need a car though, it may be a bit of a walk to the nearest shops and restaurants. On-site secure free parking too! The buffet breakfast was excellent and the Hotel has an actual restaurant which was packed so it must have been popular. Wifi was great.
