ibis Reims Tinqueux

There are few surprises with an Ibis. Staff were very helpful and changed our room to one of the older ones with two seats. Very convenient for the motorway south we have stayed here many times and enjoyed eating at Flunch just a short walk away. The neighbouring hotel costs more but has a swimming pool for warmer times of year.

In the end we paid for breakfast which was comprehensive and enjoyable but part way through the chimney sweep started work rather noisily on the grill chimney.

Very easy to get to from main roads. Late check-in, front desk staffed all night. All staff were helpful and friendly. The place is clean and well maintained as far as I could tell. Room's are pretty spacious for a budget-oriented hotel and the bathrooms are a good size, too.

Range of options for breakfast wasn't as good as it has been in the past (have stayed here at least twice before). The restaurant is great, but if you want to eat elsewhere, options are a bit limited unless you drive.

The ‘choose your room’ section on Booking.com had a ‘breakfast available’ and a more expensive ‘breakfast included’ option I chose the breakfast includes option, didn’t check the booking confirmation to see what that said, and the hotel refused to give my wife and son the breakfast I had paid for with the more expensive option.

Good & easy location off the A26, made a great place for our overnight stopover. Modern decor and very clean hotel. Our room was fairly basic, but very clean, and a very comfortable bed to sleep in. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a big Carrefour Hypermarket within 5 minutes walk. There is a Restaurant at the hotel, although we didn't use this. Would definitely choose this again for an overnight stay.

The room was as expected, with comfortable beds and pillows, very clean and quiet considering we were near the main road. The restaurant was very good and the staff were very helpful and happy to speak English. Breakfast was great! It's a very handy location for a halfway stop if you are heading south like us but we decided to visit the cathedral in the morning and it was very easy to get into the centre of town.

The hotel itself is a very nice hotel. But not being a dog owner or particularly a dog lover, i found it had far to many owners with dogs staying, some people may like that but i do not, And to allow them into the restaurant at meal time is way beyond me. At times it felt like i was staying at a dog kennel.

Great location; we have stayed here a few times as we travel frequently between Bristol and the Alps. It's cheap and cheerful but very friendly and reliable and the food in the restaurant hits the spot very well on a long journey. Ample easy parking. We also like the Carrefour opposite to stock up on Champagne (you can normally find some being promoted at a very good price) - and the (relatively) cheap petrol station there!

No tea/coffee making facilities in room.

Close to the autoroute and great location for an overnight stop on the way back from Frejus leaving a short drive next day to Calais. Easy to find with good sized car park, with restaurant attached, clean room and comfy bed.

Service in the restaurant was very slow, 2 x other tables who came in after us ordered their food and drinks and were served with them before we were even asked if we wanted anything to drink, we even had to ask the server when she was passing our table if we could order! Once served though we enjoyed the food and it was reasonably priced.

Perfect location for a last stop before Calais (2hr30 away), 2 minutes off the motorway and easy to find. Checked in at about 22:30 with no issues, room was small but perfect for a bed and a warm shower, beds were very comfortable. Really good value for money and breakfast was good.

Breakfast was a tad on the expensive side for what was being offered.

Stayed many times always good. As an EV driver I appreciate use of the the free charging at the hotel, but the charger is low power and very slow. The hotel should consider installing a more powerful charger and charging a fee to use it

Noticed the cost had gone up a lot so will shop around next time.
