Best Western Adagio Saumur

Location on an island: just crossing the bridge (with a fairy tale view) to the center. Personnel extremely helpful (arranged a pickup, changed immediatly a fridge not working). Room comfortable, AC, elevator.

There is nothing to criticize, just an advice: take seriously the warning of the hotel and do not open the window at night with the lights on because there are small flies (ephemerals) that invade the room.

Quiet central location on the island. Rooms were small but adequate for a short stay. Beds very comfortable. Quiet lounge for a drink. Secure Garage parking. French breakfast was plentiful with good coffee.

Signs of mould in the ageing rooms. Outdated shower in the bath tub is not suitable for elderly folk with short legs. Small flies in the bathtub (Loire problem) Ventilation in bathroom. Only 1 coffee machine at breakfast.

The bed is like sleeping on sponge, no support\ The pillows offer no support to neck or head...did not sleep well..need to buy new pillows throughout the hotel.

Easy to access with good parking and a great location for a quick walk over the bridge into town. Spacious and well kept inside, good superior room with views over the Loire and everything I needed. Variety of food at breakfast including meats, eggs and cheese. Welcoming staff, would definitely stay again!

Although said to soundproof in 106 you can clearly hear the scraping of the chairs in the dining room once breakfast has begun

Great location - just a short walk across the bridge to the main area of restaurants and bars. Room very clean and staff very accommodating. Secure onset parking really important for me - as travelling on a motorbike. I have stayed in Saumur on a few occasions and would happily recommend this hotel.

Great location, easy to walk to all the wonderful things Saumur has to offer, castles, food and more. Awesome stop for cyclists as they have a wonderful locked storage area in the secure parking garage.

Lots of room in the hotel generally and my room too. Friendly staff with lots of patience , for English guests too. Good air conditioning, very nicely decorated. Very good breakfast. Right in the middle of this beautiful city.

Friendly welcome as we arrived (late afternoon Sat 10 June) and the room was very comfortable and clean. Loved the view over the river. (And the stylish warderobe doors !) Great to be able to park off the road.
