Hotel Le Genepy

This hotel is a gem ! Superbly run by a lovely Dutch couple, everything runs to clockwork, leaving a person free to eat, sleep and ski ! The food is great quality and the 3 course evening meal, every night, was varied and delicious.Breakfast was yummy too; I loved coming down in the morning to all the fresh artisan breads with butter and Dutch style chocolate sprinkles ! There is a cosy bar downstairs where you can chat or chill...all very comfortable.My room was spotless and cleaned daily and I would recommend a stay at The Genepy very highly !!

There is nothing not to like but I did not realise how many of the guests would be Dutch....so I did a bit of Duolingo in the evenings and learnt some basic greetings !

A fantastic chalet style, welcoming hotel set in the lovely picturesque village of Brevieres. Simple, warm, perfectly functioning and spacious bedroom; very comfortable beds, excellent shower, nice view from the balcony. Food is the absolute speciality, the thought and pride taken in everything presented was astounding from the finest breads, pastries, hams and scrambled eggs for breakfast to the delicious three course dinners and plentiful portions to more than satisfy hungry teenagers. All staff from the lovely hospitable hosts to the friendly and helpful team were fantastic; we thank you all for a wonderful holiday. Great ski in ski out village despite the unusually hot weather and lack of recent snowfall; good location, excellent ski hire and ski pass purchase in the village, easy access to main pistes and lifts of Tignes ( 1/2 hour to central Tignes Lac via lifts). Brevieres apres ski at end of ski run, nice, chilled; hotel bar was fun and atmospheric; other bars in village quite lively and personable. Slightly cosy ski drying room but did the job perfectly.

Absolutely nothing to dislike.

Comfortable beds in clean bedrooms. Laid back and super friendly staff. Great food. Lovely atmosphere in the bar. Ski hire and lift passes made so simple! Free parking on first come first served basis.

Leaving to come home. Hangovers at altitude.

Toilet awkward to get into. Very tight fit as door opened inwards Room a little small but adequate

Food was great, staff were as friendly and helpful as ever, bar was relaxed and the rooms / on suite was spotless clean. Parking was right outside the hotel and the ski lift is a few minutes walk down the road. Will be back next year hopefully.

The boot room can get a little busy but there are extra shelves and your boots are nice and warm in the morning.

Excellent breakfast, great evening meal. Friendly atmosphere and made to feel very welcome. Staff super friendly.

Ski room small, so ski's and boots got muddled up when hotel full. No room on the boot warmer at end of day but we understand there are plans to improve this.

The food is great, and the staff were amazing. Hot tub is broken for the rest of the season. I'd go back to this hotel, hot tub, or no hot tub.

great place, comfy 3 bedroom room with excellent shower in the en suite. cool bar, great breakfast and dinner, fun bar downstairs. friendly staff that arranged ski hire and ski passes
