Maritim Hotel Bad Homburg

We loved this hotel because it has everything to make you feel comfortable and being pampered. Rooms are spacious as well as wardrobe, desks and armchairs. In the bathroom there are toiletries. Swimming pool is small but clean and surrounded with trees and has a view at the park. We loved goodnight sweets on pillows. We stayed only one night but hope to be back one day and stay longer.. although this hotel is not new, newer hotels should learn from it about hospitality.

Pillows could be a bit more stuffed for my taste but still they were very comfy for the rest of the family. Garage charge for hotel guests is quite high - should be complimentary at least for some period.

Very clean, spacious room with good blackout curtains. Excellent shower, decent enough hairdryer for hotel standards, good sized towels. Plenty of coat hangers and storage. Free luggage storage when checking out if you want to stay in town for a while. Good WiFi. Mini fridge in room. Ironing facilities on the 4th floor. Didn't use the aircon or leisure facilities so no rating for those.

Breakfast was nice but too expensive (go across the road to the bakery), no free parking (subsidised at 15€ per 24 hours), 10€ per hour early check in fee is ridiculous. No coffee making facilities unless you book a suite.

I particularly liked the balcony and the comfortable armchairs with footstool in the room. Also the apple etc when I didn't need the room to be cleaned. The bathroom was excellent, especially the shower and the large bathtowels. Great breakfast and plenty of coffee. The location was just right as I was attending an event in the Kurhaus theatre.

The single-bed sized duvet was too short for me. The bedside lamp didn't give enough light to read a book comfortably. There were no non-German channels available on the TV.

restaurant waiters are very friendly, clean nice rooms

in the reception, the receptionist lady was not friendly, when we checked in we asked invoive she said we have to get from booking, we had 100 times experiences but she was not helpful and not understandable and not friendly. but when we checked out the receptionist gentleman was very friendly and gave our invoice and he didnt understand why other colleague didnt want to give invoice. finally we got it. other than that, all is fine, you can enjoy with your kids. clean and nice breakfast they have

We spent two nights to attend a theatre festival and brought along our dog. Location was great for theatre, restaurants and sightseeing and very convenient for dog owners as there was an adjacent park. Rooms were nice and comfortable. Breakfast buffet had good variety.

Parking was conveniently located but expensive. Coming back at night from the theatre there was a long queue at the vending machine, fighting for the last pretzels. We would have liked to have the chance to order a sandwich, salad or any decent snack.

This is my second time stay in Maritim Hotels. After my first stay at Maritim, Stuttgard, I had a desired to stay again. Undoubtedly I loved to stay in this Hotel and also planned to stay in Maritim chain of Hotels around globe. The only thing it is a bit expensive and hopefully I can get a better price so will definitely stay in Maritim Hotel in near future. Any good offer for Manchester. Planning to visit next month.

One comment, guest parking should be free or subsidized. It was quiet expensive. Maritim hotels management should worked on this point. Breakfast. My first experince in Maritim Stuttgard, breakfast was exceptionally good. Here it was OK. Some items got finished and have to wait longer.

I was very satisfied with the service provided by the chief of reception Due to overbooking they offered to move us to a similar hotel in the neighborhood That was not ok for us. He found a room for us anyway. A very competent person, I do not know his name.

their system made an error and booked to many rooms during the fair Ambiente. It happened only once during our stays at this hotel. They found a room for us however.

I like the size of the room and cleaning. Was close to city central and taxi nearby.

Me and my friends was out late and had some problem to get in the door to the hotel was locket and to call the hotel took time and to get someone to open the door they maybe should fix that you could open the door with your key card......

We booked online the night before and turned up the next day in the early evening. We found the car park under the hotel (15,00€ per day) and used the lift to get up to the reception area. I liked the fact that there were three electric vehicle charging stations in the car park. Check in was quick and easy. We were travelling with our dog which cost us an additional 25,00€ per day. We had booked one larger room for the three of us, but were highly delighted to be booked into two adjoining double rooms on the 5th floor overlooking the shopping precinct. I took one of the rooms with a large bed (two singles pushed together), table and chair, desk and second chair, large flat screen telly, safe and well equipped bathroom. My bathroom had a stand in shower with two shower heads. There was an empty fridge which we made use of for dog food etc. & there was one bottle of Gerolsteiner sparkling water (why not from the local spa?). The adjoining room was similar except for a shower in a bath tub. Breakfast was on the 1st floor. We were thrilled that we could take our dog into the breakfast room on the first day. One the second day we sat in a separated corner which was fine and much quieter than the main room. The breakfast buffet was well stocked with a wide range of delicious choices. My granddaughter & I took advantage of the swimming pool one afternoon. For most of the time we were on our own. Perfect. The location was except. The Kurpark was on one side of the hotel and the shopping precinct on the other. Also perfect. I appreciated the fact that all hotel staff (and guests) tolerated our dog. Admittedly he was well behaved but I was relieved that nobody gave us any stress at all. In fact on arrival the receptionist even gave us a little bag of treats for him. That was a nice gesture. All in all, a lovely stay in a lovely hotel in a lovely old spa town. Even the weather was kind to us!

our favorite property in Bad Homburg. we always stay there when we come. we love the location, room size, it’s very convenient.

breakfast does not offer much variety, mostly pork, but lately we have been taking a room without breakfast because there are few places nearby that offer great breakfast for the same price.
