ibis Berlin Messe

We were there for a conference at CityCube. If you need to be in that part of the city, it's great location, otherwise it's kind of far from the city center. The room/hotel: clean sheets, clean bathroom, access to refreshers downstairs (beer/water/etc) at any hour, working air conditioning. Nearby: there is a metro station at 5 min walk, bus station next to the hotel, mexican+ thai restaurants 5-10 min walk, and CityCube about 15-20 min walk.

Given our context it was ok (we were there specifically for the conference, so close location was necessary) but if you are there to visit the center it's a bit far (even though you have good connection from metro). Same for the airport, you have to take the train there (about 1h far). If you get lucky and you don't have to leave early or in the weekend, you don't have to change trains, otherwise, good luck. Room was small (we were in a room with 3 single beds) needless to say, we were a bit crowded, but managed just fine since we didn't spend to much time in the room either way.

Location was great for us. The most important item was Cleanliness. Also the staff were very friendly and nice and they spoke english fluently. Internet connection was great in room and we were happy with WiFi. Our room was exactly like the pictures. absolutely recommended to everyone. We were happy about everything and we will come back again soon.

There was not a slipper (but it is still ok, as in the website it is mentioned also that there is no slipper) , Toothpaste in room. Also I wish there was a xmall fridge in room. But these items are not very important for us. In total we were happly about everything

I liked the location close to the bus station, the ability to leave heavy luggage in a safe place until check-in, quick check-in, clean room and toilet, delicious and hearty breakfast in a cafe on the 8th floor with a beautiful panoramic view from the window, polite staff.

The exhaust fan in the toilet interfered with sleep, as it worked continuously day and night. It cannot be turned off. It would be more convenient if it turned off automatically after some time after the power was turned off, for example. Then it would be quiet at night.

the facility was near messe berlin so the method of transport was easy to use and the room was confortable and useful the breakfast was delicious with a variety of menu every day the bread and croissant were made by the kitchen of the hotel the vegetable were fraiche etc it was relaxing experience

evrything was good but i wished that the room was more clean maybe they forget to wipe the dust on the furniture

I stayed 5 days because of work. The room is small but clean, and the bathroom has enough space. There is a metro station just in front of the hotel so you can access all city easily (I think Lisbon has one of the best metro systems). Also, you can take the red line (metro) from the airport, it will drop you in front of the hotel. Breakfast was AMAZING, with a vast variety of food. The only thing I did not enjoy was the lack of acoustic isolation within the room, I could hear people going in/out of their rooms and walking through the aisle, I am a light sleeper, so the noise woke me up.

We were very pleased with everything. The receptionists were all polite and helpful (especially the young lady with the pinkish hair) and the room was very clean, since a cleaner was cleaning our bathroom and changing our towels every day. Concerning the location, it is very convenient for those who visit Berlin by plane, since you can take S45 from terminal 1-2 and go straight to your destination. Additionally, there is a beautiful park (Lietzensee Park) very close to the hotel, which is ideal for all ages, since there is a lovely playground, benches to enjoy the view of the lake and a very nice cafe for hot/cold drinks.

The price of the breakfast should be cheaper; 12 euros per person is a lot of money for a family.

Value for money

I stayed there to attend a fair at Berlin Messe which is next to the hotel. however the hotel is near to entrance north with Messe and my show was at entrance south, its a lot of walking from the hotel to entrance south. If you will stay there to attend a fair at Messe, then I recommend that you check which entrance will be open for your show, if its the north entrance then this property is excellent, if its south then you will have around 20 - 25 of walking

The room was spacious and the view from the breakfast room was amazing. My kids enjoyed the mini croissants and the waffles. I enjoyed the coffee machine.

We where four in one room and the pull out sofa was uncomfortable. The sheet they’d used on it was not large enough so the it moved during the night. Sticky floors in the breakfast room two days in a row. The scrambled eggs did not look appetizing and didn’t taste good either.

We were surprised that the hotel is equipped with air-condition! In this very hot summer, the air condition is very helpful and comfortable. The free parking space across the street is very ideal.

There is no car entry in front of the hotel, only walking area, which is not allowed for short parking and unload the luggages.

Relatively good location - close to S-bahn and U-bahn - 5 minutes away from the stations. Clean Friendly staff Quite convenient

Someone tried to enter the room when I was in my bed. Had a proper key-card. Probably noticed that I am in the room and quickly turned back. I haven't seen that person, so I don't know if it was a maid or what. And that happened even I hanged a "do not disturb" sign on the outside doorknob. Additionally: -no tea/coffee amenities :(
