Altstadt Hotel St. Georg

I've been staying at his hotel for a few years now, and it's perfectly located for transport to the Messe + even better for going out at night in the Old Town. Staff very friendly. AMAZING value for money. Breakfast isn't going to change the world, but you're not booking this place for the food. Rooms are large & always been clean. Personally I've never had an issue with noise, despite the very central location - however, I always ask for a room at the back. I will continue to stay here when I visit Dusseldorf in January.

Located in centre of Altstadt, bars and restaurants nearby. German, Italian, Oriental, many others. Good transport by U-bahn, Tram, bus etc.

Hotel good but needs attention in some areas. Lights don't always work. Breakfast buffet good except one day when a load of vultures took over the breakfast room and left very little. Rooms could be noisy from street noise.

Location ideal to altstadt and shopping and transportation. You are in the heart of the party scene so expect a bit more noise or booming beats on Friday and Saturday nights. The furniture is a bit bulky and in some areas a bit worn but overall price= quality was acceptable. Towels and sheets were in very good condition and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast = nice selection. overall nice stay!!! :-)

Very centrally located with access to sites, restaurants and bars nearby. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast included with a good choice. Lift available. Friendly staff. Large room with separate bathroom which had a bath with shower over it. Good value.

No air conditioning, but a desk top fan is provided as standard in room, so not a huge issue. Located in a street lined with restaurants, bars clubs so very noisy at night. But it didn't prevent me sleeping, I actually slept well during my stay.

Breakfast was very nice, however not replenished very well once used. First come, first serve, once it was gone it’s gone. ( e.g crosssints, scrambled egg). Great location and staff were lovely!

No shower curtain in bathrooms, impossible to not get the floor wet. Certain things in the room were damaged and old, however did not bother our group as was there for a stag do and therefore very easy going.

The location was amazing - the heart of the Altstadt of Duesseldorf, and close to an underground station. Very functional. Great city view. Close to all the restaurants

The breakfast was more sparse than some of the hotels I had stayed at in Germany, but the price reflects that. Showers spread water on the floor.

location in center near to restaurants ,Breakfast not so big but good against value ,room was surprise for me ,as usual rooms in this area small ,but at this hotel room was big.

Room was bigger than what I except ,WC Was good and room was clean, with TV and air condition ,staff was helpful ,very near to underground metro.

Hotel was nice & clean Staff were very friendly. Prices were good , location great. They let us stay late as we had a night flight and did store our bags.

Much room when u entered the room the 2 wooden framed beds met u and probably should have been used for single room Was little noisy due to its location, but then u couldn't knock the location. The breakfast was standard .

The hotel is very close to many enjoyable parts of the city, for beers, food, or shopping. Also very close to a subway. A small hotel with a very nice and helpful staff, not the shopping mall vibe of bigger hotels. Good bed, and air condition was great on super-warm days.

Very good location. The room was big and comfortable with all amenities. Modern bathroom with all you need. Even though there are some restaurants in the area, it was still quiet in the evening. Can gladly recommend this stay.

The small fridge was not in good condition and the complete opposite of the rest of the room and amenities. Should really think about upgrading it to the same standard.
