Living Hotel De Medici

The hotel has a prefect location. Walking distance to almost all attractions. The room was nice and clean. The hotel staff were the best of it. They were always kind and helpful.

Bathroom door might be a problem regarding the privacy when traveling with children. It was shaded but not completely.

Excellent location, wonderful staff, great breakfast in a historic environmnent. Though the building dates back to the 15th century (IIUC), it comes with all needed comfort. It's around 10-15 minutes from Prague central train station (don't pay more than 350 CZ for a cab!), just within ~10 minutes walking distance to the castle and/or Charles bridge. Wonderful Helena from the staff organized a private guided daylong tour for "my" son and me and the guide was very experienced. Though I wished to get a more structured/didactic tour setup, my son learned some interesting insights about the city from a born local. Hint: If you plan to have a private tour, make a list of all the sightseeings you plan to visit and namely, which you want to see from the inside (namely the castle needs tickets that should be bought ahead). The official 5 stars don't reflect what you expect from 5 star grand hotels, but so isn't the price. But what you get is an underpriced 5 star tiny hotel. Very much recommended unless you expect the anonymity of nowadays big brand hotels.

The single room #1 should have a bed more narrow, but giving more space to the window. But that is basically it. Perhaps: Wish they had a restaurant.

We were amazed at the hotel. So beautiful and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. If was so refreshing to see staff who genuinely seemed happy to go over and above for customers

The hotel is beautiful. And there were only 2 small things that were disappointing. The room we stayed in was classed as an apartment but it still only had a double bed. They put in a camp bed for the 3rd adult. We had to call to have it changed as it collapsed when we sat on it. They did and it was a comfortable sleep. The coffee machine didn't work and there was no milk even if it did!

Hotel Staff was very good & Polite in behavior. Location is nice & beautiful. Hotel like Museam Will recommend to all to come this Hotel. Best in Dusseldorf!!

I have taken room with Kitchen (119 Room).Fire alarm installed in kitchen ,was boiling milk with my 3 years daughter then fire alarm started. Hotel asked me to pay for penality for this.I am not agreed if I took Hotel with Kitchen then I should not be liable for penalty. Either. ,They should not use fire alarm in kitchen or should be provided proper guidance like (do /don't) for this. Hotel mgmt will handle with Fire Team for this issue. I hope. Hotel management will consider the same & help in this matter. Need your positive support! Please don't use fire alarm (sensor) in kitchen (just top of stove) And please provide proper guidance to guest for not using items for the same (Do/Don't) Thanks.

The location of the hotel is very central, to anywhere in the city, we walked the city on foot, we did not need a car, nor public transport, The room is spacious, it has everything we needed including a kettle for hot drinks, just a pity there is no coffee machine as expected from such a hotel, Excellent, rich and varied breakfast and fresh products with excellent staff service on site, Also excellent car parking service Definitely our hotel in Düsseldorf

There is no such thing, just a note: to enter the hotel with a car, there is a checkpoint that goes down, a red light changes to green, it is very necessary to put a mirror to the checkpoint, whoever sits in the car will see the checkpoint go down, because you do not pay attention to the device with the red-green that is in a high and not good position

Beautiful, hotel in an historic building! The location was perfect for strolling the streets of Düsseldorf visiting the Christmas Markets. We made reservations at local restaurants - Weinhaus Tante Anna, and Vente - and they were just yards away from the hotel entrance. Everything was so close! The staff was always eager to help and was so professional! Especially enjoyed the parking garage located just across the street - an easy walk! One highlight that we enjoyed was looking at the extensive collection of vintage/antique walking sticks that were beautifully framed and displayed in the hallway! Our charming, wood-paneled room overlooking the courtyard was so cosy, yet comfortable and well-appointed. We really enjoyed our weekend at the Living Hotel de Medici!

The only complaint was the wait for coffee at breakfast on Sunday. The restaurant was SO busy that morning, and people were having to wait in line to get coffee. It seems that the hotel could install a second coffee maker for the staff to use in the kitchen to serve guests, while also offering a self-service machine in the breakfast buffet area.

the hotel is magnificent with the beautiful art inside! the room is very comfortable, clean and warm (key for us), locations is suitable for exploring the city, the staff is professional, the breakfast is nice! Bottled mineral water in the room is advantage. great value for money

we can’t try the spa as it’s under repair but we suppose it is also good 😊

As I was travelling with mother who was 80, we asked for two separate beds. They did not have available rooms but they upgraded us to an executive suit without extra charge. The room was very big, luxurious and comfortable.

The goose feather pillows were difficult to sleep on. Although it is seen as a luxury item, we find them very unconfortable and they did not any other type of pillows.

Everything. The Hotel de Medici offers a very high standard of comfort in a good location for exploring the Altstadt. The room was very well appointed and surprisingly quiet given the city location, breakfast was excellent and the staff were all very helpful. I highly recommend this hotel. They even have an electric toilet flush - there’s a first!
