B&B Hotel Erlangen

It's a very nice hotel if you travel by car and want to have a night brake while you are traveling a longer distance or you have a day visit in Nurmberg and you are by car. Close to the highway so you stop by in the evening and continue right away the next morning.

I booked a twin room but the room that I was assigned was not a twin room but a double room with a queen bed and I did not want that type of room otherwise I would select the double room and not the twin room. I arrived after reception working hours so I was not able to ask for another room.

Very clean room and bathroom with all you need. Self-check-in and check-out worked well. Wi-fi was ok; free parking in front of the hotel. The staff was very nice: we paid for the room via booking but when we checked in we paid again with our card (you have to provide a card otherwise the automatic system will not allow you to enter). The receptionist realized it herself and in the morning returned us money.

Self-check-in system: it is good because one can enter anytime and it's safe but, at the same time, it's bad because it asks to pay with a valid card. Even though we paid via booking, the system didn't register this. It means, you can't enter the building if you don't have a valid debit or credit card, even though you have already paid for the room online.

Breakfast O.K. Service Excellent, Clean and neat, grocery shop near the hotel(Norma)

Meals for weekends was challenging → need to go far to city center or around

Nice clean quiet room, exactly what we needed to relax after long journey. We stayed with our dog, plenty of grass around hotel to walk around with him.

We had problem with check in with noone at the reception till 17:30 we had to call emergency line to get in our room as self check in machine didn't want to accept our reservation. Gentlemen on the phone was very helpful.

24/7 check-in is just superb. We came there at 4 am. Fast check-in and then straight to the bed. Pretty quiet hotel, despite it being located just near the motorway.

We actually did not have time to feel the atmosphere of the hotel. We saw staff at the reception only once, the next morning when we were leaving. He was friendly.

Clean, spacious and excellent location. Literally 5 min off the motorway. Very good facilities and good breakfast. Also parking on site. Thank you.

loved that it was clean,good area,quite,hot water all working and really good water pressure,clean towels + beddings, variety of food for breakfast. worth the money

if the room temperature could go up more than 28° as it was a bit cold

Check-in and check-out were automatic and seamless. I hope other hotels around the world start doing the same.

No scrambled eggs in breakfast on my last day (maybe they ran out by the time I came down for breakfast)

Powerful showers and comfy bed made this an ideal overnight transit stop.

Self check-in. We unfortunately arrived at the same time as several others. Only one check-in terminal. It took a long time to process everybody due to the amount of information required to be inputed. This could have been sped up considerably by asking for such information in advance. It was cold oustide, limited space in lobby. Really not ideal.

Classic B&B hotel. Check in possible outside of reception's opening hours. Easy access near Autobahn, parking for free, big parking with lights, Wi-fi.

No hotel sign on the road. Without google maps not fast to find.
